The Rogue Valley Trojans would like to welcome wide receiver Anthony "Shorty" Taylor (@_5era_) to the 2020 Rogue Valley Trojans squad. Shorty is a 2019 graduate from North Medford High School and he is going to be a speedy weapon for the Trojans this upcoming PNFL season. 😤💯🙌
This might be my favourite photo I've ever taken. When I look at it, there's basically nothing I would change. The expired film gives it a unique look, the geometry of the photo is cool, and the one lil' cloud puff brings it all together. I am very happy about this photo.

In the immediate, waking up to catch the sunrise is about as painful as getting snagged by blackberry thorns. Look to the horizon and the rewards are worth it. A happy Monday and splendid week to you! #sunrise#happymonday#bestoforegon#oregonexplored
The Rogue Valley Trojans would like to welcome linebacker Jaxin Kinler-Gossman (@jaxin18) to the 2020 Rogue Valley Trojans. Jaxin is a 2019 graduate from South Medford High School and we couldn't be more excited to have his energy be apart of our squad. Watch out for him this coming PNFL season. 😤💯
This caldera lake is one of the deepest lakes in the world (it’s also one of the clearest)!
We took Watchman Peak Trail up to the historic fire lookout. Great view of Wizard Island ⚡️. Cloudy and light misting. Rain, snow or shine... I can see why this place is as incredible as I’ve heard. And it’s only 4 hours away... the Pacific Northwest is something special. Finally made it, 27 years in.
It is official 💯 The number 1 receiver in the Pacific Northwest Football League is coming back to the Rogue Valley Trojans for his 2nd year. Can Jordan Castro (@jordancazz) top his breakout rookie season? Defense's are about to find out... 😤💯

Hope you are warm and cozy and had a great weekend relaxing or being refreshed in some way.
Here is your Oregon Showcase for Sunday!
Always beauty around every corner!
Find our bread at some of our favorite places in town, like @thumpcoffee where they make some wonderful toasts to snack on with a killer cup of coffee 🍞☕️ repost @thumpcoffeebend
Country Loaf, peanut butter, banana, cinnamon, honey, bee pollen. It’s waiting for you✨
I want to talk to you about holes.
I hiked through some beautiful meadows last month with @howiebrounstein and @heronbrae of @columbinesschoolofbs, the land bursting with wildflowers. Like this meadow filled with heather.
As we walked, Heron had us look down and notice bare patches of earth. We did that intermittently for the first day of the weekend.
The next morning, we did a ramble, intentionally noticing all the spots. What caused the phenomenon?
We, the students, hypothesized: Some burrowing animal. Some eddying flood. A long-planted rock that got moved... somehow.
But the edges of each hole proved too precise. The cause of the holes? Plant poachers.
Because some folks apparently believe it’s better to drive through mountains and up a hill that my AWD car almost couldn’t manage just to make holes in our public lands?
I love a pretty garden as much as the next person, maybe more. But this is not cool.
Here in Portland we’ve got awesome local options like @thicketpdx and @xeraplants. If you don’t have a ton of options where you live, many places can send you plants by mail.
You could also take the extra step to ask the nurseries where they get their stock. Because the owners might not have been up the mountains to see the poachers’ holes.
Whether it’s garden plants or plant medicine, our choices have an impact. What we decide for ourselves can affect more than just ourselves. Knowing where your plants come from is good for the health of individuals, communities and the planet on which we depend.

It looked like the sky poured into the crater, the bluest blue 😮🕉
I’ve been wanting to do this hike all summer but it’s a 3 hour drive from me and 15 miles round trip hike, so I kept finding excuses not to do it. ⠀⠀
When I ran outta excuses I finally did the damn thing and, as expected, it was totally worth it. ⠀
I am always humbled by the amazing landscape out here and grateful & privileged to have a body that is able to take me to these wild places.
Sunrise reflections are my go too! Who else would love to see this beautiful view!? 🌞🌲🌄

‘No Vacancy’ 🌲
Buried deep in the mood drenched woods of the PNW, lie some of the most interesting stories. (AFRA) Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association do everything they can to teach and turn retired planes into homes and other creative spaces. Some more luxurious then any place I’ll ever live.
Would you stay here??

I’ve always loved the first glimpse of the ocean when walking onto the beach.

Here’s another one from my latest trip to Oregon. On occasions where the sky could use a cloud or two, I always try to be a bit more creative with the frame. I hope you like this one!

My first time to crater lake was completely different. Snow as high as a two story building, winds that would blow you off a mountain and cold as ice cream.. maybe colder. ❄️ Today was an insane sunrise, just cold enough to wear a light jacket and views that were endless. Glad I got to see Crater Lake in all its beauty.
