I’ll be out here next month, whether I have to hold a 6’ stick or not. Actually this lake is so massive that I can count on both hands how many “busy” days on the water I’ve experienced in any given season. I’m hopeful 2020 will hold for us a summertime paradise like no other time. Here’s to many of those amazing days ahead.

Just something about a black horse.....🤤 @annah.banannah isn’t half bad herself either! 😉
Some outside for your inside. October in #yellowstone being there for the first snow of the year was special. #tundasar got the family everywhere we wanted to go safely and in rugged #utilitarian style.
It's the last day of Food Week over here at Bear Smart Big Sky! Today, we have to show the food source that we wish didn’t exist: trash. Trash is an inevitable part of human life, and in most places it is commonplace to put garbage by the curb and forget about it. If you are fortunate enough to call Big Sky home, trash is something that you need to think about a bit more than most people. You may have moved to Big Sky due to the proximity to nature, but this proximity means that you share a backyard, neighborhood, and town with the wildlife that also call this place home and have a responsibility to keep these animals wild. ⠀
Bears are what is known as "opportunistic omnivores," they will pretty much eat anything, making them very susceptible to the lure of a nice, stinky bag of trash. However, garbage (or any human food source) shouldn’t be part of a bear’s diet. It can pose health risks and interfere with their hibernation patterns. More than that, access to trash causes habituation. Bears that learn that they can easily get human food (like trash) are more likely to hang around human spaces which means they will eventually have to get moved, or even killed. Every community member can prevent this tragedy from occurring by storing their trash correctly in their bear resistant garbage cans! ⠀
If you don't have a bear proof outdoor trash can contact your trash provider (DM us if you have questions)! If you already have one, make sure that you read the instructions on how to properly secure them and never store overflow trash outside!⠀
Stay tuned next week for how you can make your home more bear smart and keep bears and Big Sky wild!⠀
Hey, gang! Well, BIG NEWS! Official today! I’m the newest member of the Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties - Bozeman office. This quarantine has caused most of us to do some soul searching and reevaluation of life in general. Things that we took for granted just a few weeks before are probably at the top of our gratitude lists! Hunkering down and focusing on how I want to grow my real estate business in 2020 has lead me back to the basics. Why did I get into this crazy industry in the first place? At the core of it all, I am driven by a passion for customer service. Its tough to spend 20+ years helping people if you cannot find joy in every relationship and transaction! From working in luxury jewelry sales, the food and beverage industry, and running a business as an image consultant, my entire path traces back to my love of helping others. I bought my first house in 2013 and knew I wanted to give others what I had been given - an opportunity to be a homeowner. Real estate was the next logical move. With so many moving parts in a real estate transaction, the agent that you chose to guide you through the process is KEY! I am driven to be that agent for my clients. I want to be my best for them. And so it only made sense to choose an agency that could challenge me to be MY BEST SELF and provided the best resources for my clients. Cheers to this new chapter with the CBDP team! 📷: @greendoorphoto
