I flew my first 100k of the season today, yay! I met eagles for the first time in India (three handsome creatures who nicely shared a thermal with me), 🦅 and in a pack of 50 vultures and other birds! 😱 I thought it was mayhem above the paragliding take off until I saw the state of the vultures’ launching place! 🚗🚚🚙
➡️Can't really put in words the experience I had at the second best in Asia and fourth best in the world Paragliding destination.
➡️This was one of the best adventures I experienced so far.
➡️It seems difficult and terrifying when looked at first but when you're at the take off site you don't get any time to get nervous to jump off the cliff.
➡️At one moment your feet are on the ground and before you know it the wind pulls you off the ground and you are flying.
➡️ All I wanted at that moment that the flight must never end but alas you land and you definitely land with a great smile on your face.
➡️The ultimate liberation is what I felt in this very thrill-seeking adventure

At the crossroads of life - I now can see why in any relationship we tolerate what we shouldn't, why we allow people to take us for granted, why we sometimes even step below our self-respect and let people treat us not the way we deserve to be treated. I have done this to myself many times too ☺️ I admit. But why? In my mind When I think about it or when I am advising a friend, I can't even imagine anyone taking this Sh*# but in reality, many of us take it! Isn't it? Why?
My lil understanding says, that's it's because we value ourselves less, we don't connect with ourselves & we don't spend enough time working on ourselves, nourishing ourselves, polishing our talents, doing what we love, or doing things that will increase our confidence. Another thing is the fear to be able to stand alone. So we rather take non-sense in a relationship or life than be Alone!
To counter all this, to be able to stand alone, to be fearless alone, to come in my SHAKTI! To have more self-worth, I started taking time off from people, from social media, from phone, from all the distractions, I started Travelling Alone ☺️ What do you think? Have you been in relationships, with people, friends etc, where this happened & u allowed it? What do u do to work out yourself? For your self? For your happiness?
Do share your views, I will be waiting ☺️🤗💞 #akangsharawat#kirtida#starbharat#radhakrish#birbilling#Bir#himachalpradesh#indianpictures#travelgirl#wanderlust#instahimachal#selfworth#selflove#pahadi_corner#humansofhimachal#himalyan_musaafir#himalayasin#letsgohimachal#himachali_insta_shoutout@thenortherncafe
🌿My Travel Hair Care Tips
All the chlorine, salt water, sand, sun damage our hair and I am the last person to stay away from enjoying all these just for the sake of hair. I have found these little tricks that work for me. 🌵Tie & Cover Your Hair– I keep my hair tied in bun or braids whenever possible. Usually I explore any city on a scooty which makes my hair more prone to tangles. Hence, I always wear a scarf or a cap to prevent damage by heat and pollution. 🌵Invest In A Good Swimming Cap– If you are a water baby like me, this is a must. Chlorine can make hair dry and brittle. To avoid exposure of your hair to chlorine for longer period of times, wear a swimming cap. 🌵Apply A Hair Serum– Before jumping into the water, apply an oil based hair serum. This will protect your hair from becoming rough/dry due to long hours in water. Perilla Seed Oil from @blenditrawbeauty works great for me as it is super light but nourishing. 🌵Apple Cider Vinegar– Apple Cider Vinegar helps get rid of scalp buildup and chlorine from the hair. You can either carry a bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar or make yourself a DIY Mist using Apple Cider Vinegar.
(Mix together 3 parts Organic Rose/Rosemary Hydrosol along with 1 part organic Apple Cider Vinegar. Spray it on your hair after washing and after a swim.) 🌵Oil Your Hair– I cannot emphasize this enough. Oils have been my hair savior. I mostly end up washing my hair every single day whenever I am travelling but I make sure I oil my hair at night. Carrying different oils for face, hair and body can get a little difficult. Hence, I make a bottle of a multipurpose oil that can be used on face (mix it with sunscreen), body (post swim), on bug bites/rashes/ sun burn and on hair before going to bed.
(DIY MULTIPURPOSE OIL: Mix together equal amounts of Watermelon Seed Oil, Cucumber Seed Oil with one percent Lavender Essential Oil. So if you are making a 50 ml bottle, add approximately 8-10 drops of essential oil)
🌵Let Your Hair Dry Naturally– Avoid using heat. Heat makes hair more rough and dry. Let them dry naturally. The tropical weather gives very nice waves to the hair.
Try them and you will notice a difference.
