Our annual RF convention starts Thursday, and two new products will be announced! I will not be there. I was bummed when tickets sold out so fast, the day before I got paid and could buy one, but I figured the universe had its reasons.
Well, turns out I am walking with a walker and I’m 100% bed rest. The universe knew what I didn’t.
But I still get to watch virtually! I can’t imagine what the 2 new products will be! We just released our amazing face masks a few months ago! (If anyone wants to come over and watch the glitz and glam in bed with me let me know! I can put it on my TV!)
Then, I got this email from the Universe today, as I prepare for my procedure and have nerves, and I gotta laugh at how appropriate it is:
“Funny, huh, Kelly, how some folks think that avoiding challenges will bring them peace?
As if the peace they now know didn't come from earlier challenges that were faced, and mastered.
OK - not really that funny, The Universe”
What I know now that I didn’t know two+ years ago, is that all the magic happens in the challenges and crises and how we respond to them. Embrace your challenges, don’t avoid them. Trust me!
AD | ( #gift ) The weekend after my food-poisoning-incident-from-hell (which ended up taking me two weeks to fully recover from, btw), John took our toddler out for a long bike ride in the forest and I treated myself to an at-home @dermalogicauk facial featuring their beautiful Gua Sha stone to massage my puffy face and THE new miracle product, Phyto-Nature Firming Serum (swipe to see the other products I used!). I steamed, extracted (yep!), exfoliated, misted, massaged, serum-ed, and moisturised ... my skin was literally softer than my baby's bottom (I made John touch my face and repeatedly said, 'Isn't it so soft? ISN'T IT SO SOFT?? IT FEELS LIKE VELVET!' I now use the serum nearly every night and have seen a marked difference in my skin. I also wanted to add that, although I received these products as a gift from Dermalogica, I've been buying skincare from this brand since I was 19 - it's one I've used for years and I love their products. ❤
Foraging for mushrooms, we found these amazing medicinal mushrooms.
The Birch Polypore
It has anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic, anti- inflammatory, anti-cancer, immune boosting properties!
This is your Tuesday morning reminder: don't take life too seriously, keep yourself heavenly minded, have more fun, smile at strangers...you never really know what battle people are fighting, stop comparing yourself to others...you were perfectly created and God wants YOU to be YOU flaws and all sister ✨...& lastly whenever you get the chance wear black on black on black 🖤🤪
⭐️ sometimes you just need to face what’s in the mirror whether you love or hate the reflection you can’t run from it. Being comfortable in your own mind, body and soul is not easy but not impossible ⭐️
Did you get round to reading @amberinateacup's blog about the Nutribuddy Breakfast Shake 😍? If not, grab a cuppa ☕ and head over (warning: you might end up procrastinating for hours on end as her blog is awesome ⌚). Here's a sneak peek of what she thought
So today we took a trip to get Miss S's first potty.
We are thinking it's time to start potty training. Yes she's only coming 19 months old but she's constantly telling you When's she's done something no matter if it's a pee pee or a do do as we call it. She is also constantly pulling at her nappy so we think its time.
We have a couple of potty training books ready to be introduced and the above my size potty toilet which is super cute and looks very much like our proper toilet.
Reason No. 28,493 of why we wanted this little adventure. Don’t get me wrong, I love love love the seasons. Fall in particular. However, this year we won’t be scraping ice off our windshields or fighting off all the dangerous road conditions. This winter we get the sunshine & a little extra warmth. This year I won’t be begging for my Florida getaway to help combat those winter blues. It’s been a bit of a trying time for us & a change of scenery is always good for the heart. ⠀⠀
So in case anyone was wondering why we went through all the trouble, well we needed a break from all the other troubles. Now if only we could bring all our friends & family here with us, that would be great! I’m trying to have my cake & eat it too because who wouldn’t enjoy a big ole slab of dessert under the sun with all their loved ones?

⠀ ❗️The country is a champion in colorful sunsets. If the sky is almost clear, you can literally watch a sunset like a movie. It has a script, a dramatic construction 😄 the plot, climax, denouement. Finals, etc. ..
⠀🥰 Or it seems alive. A dancer who, in his delightful dance, gently touches the faces of beholders by the edges of sparkling translucent heavenly robes. I honestly have not been so happy for a long time. #Philippines#palawan#sunset#godiseverywhere#happiness#joy#dance

I have never been very good at growing plants. Most of the time, they die right away. I don’t know what it is, but I don’t have the green thumb!
Recently, however, I have turned a corner! I’ve been able to keep several potted plants on our front porch alive as well as this indoor pot in my office.
I’m feeling very proud!
Although I don’t have a good track record with plants- I do with people. I love helping people grow and really feel it is my God-given calling.
I’ve always been passionate about helping the people around me discover how God has wired them and learn how to leverage those unique gifts to impact the world.
In my own journey, I used to be embarrassed of the leadership qualities I had. I hadn’t seen many female leaders in my life, so I didn’t know how to apply my unique set of gifts to influence others.
It took me a long time and bit of trial and error to discover that the world needs who God made me to be.
And the world needs who God made you to be!
What are the unique gifts you offer the world? Do you know?
Also, any tricks for taking care of my plants?

Hey lovelies! I want to re-introduce myself for all of my new followers and friends 😊
I’ve worked in the hair industry for over a decade and I hold a cosmetology license in 5 different states. I have a hard time picking one place to live 😆
Upon meeting new clients I’m always amazed at how uneducated most women are on proper routines and care for their hair! Why aren’t stylists keeping their clients educated?
Because of this I’ve decided to share my knowledge with women all over the world so that they can strive to make everyday a good hair day!
I can’t tell you how happy it makes my heart when a girl in Germany sends me a DM thanking me for my tips and advice and that it’s changed her life. It’s messages like those that make this all so worth it to me. I love you all and have a good hair day!! 💜💗💜
So I wanted to climb 1500m and then 2000m and keep going up in 500 metres for each bucket list win.
My previous record was Ben nevis and 1330m in a day, but I climbed 2372m on galdhøpiggen today, so that's 2 bucket list wins in one. Climb 1500m and 2000m in a day #BOOM
No idea what 2500m will be, need to do some homework. Only one I can think of right now is toubkal if you started low down in Imlil. I don't think they'll ever be a 3000m. I don't think there's enough hours in a day.
I was told just after the summit, I can't believe you do this. Truth is I don't. I've never experienced that. I've beaten my last record of climb in a day, not by a little, by 1042m, this was a lot bigger mountain that I'm used to, but it's what I trained for, and I trained hard.
Last leg on the up to Galdhøpiggen. Snow turned to ice.
I saw a bloke walk down here with all snow in his beard and it looked so cool. Like an anctartican legend lol. I tried to recreate it but I'd wrapped my head in my hoods in my lil cocoon, so the only snow/ice I got was on my hood.
Got proper whipped by icy snow here in the wind. It hurts.
That building is the shop before the summit, it was shut, but a good wind shelter.
There was all icicles hanging from it, but I minimalised my pic taking near the summit, I've trashed a phone on a mountain before in hardcore conditions and I didn't want it again here.
SoOoOoO when is it socially acceptable to turn my insta feed over to fall because I’m already all decorated ??? Hmmm I’m thinking pretty soon because #Lextober is upon us 🎃🍂 PS. This pic went viral on #VSCO so I feel pretty kewlllllll

Real talk. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been. I’m still about 8 lbs from my pre-baby weight, which is a good 20 lbs from my pre-wedding weight. ⠀
After baby, my skin has sagged and stretched, and I now have a little belly that peaks out that I never had before. ⠀
But though my body doesn’t look the same as it did in my 20s, this mama feels confident, beautiful, and strong. ⠀
And my biggest hope is that by finally loving myself and this body of mine, that I can teach my daughter to grow up to do the same. ⠀
So to anyone that needs to hear it, with or without that extra baby weight, you are beautiful, you are strong, and you are a badass mama my friend. ✨⠀
