Respected @amitshahofficial sir ,
I’m sushants Singh Rajputs girlfriend Rhea chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise .
I have complete faith in the government , however in the interest of justice , I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter . I only want to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step.
When an audience watches a show, they have little to no idea of the process that took place from ideation to stage. And often the final product can be dramatically (pun intended) to the initial concept.
The Bollywood section of RISE is a prime example of that. I was tasked to put together a routine that would represent the rich South Asia culture that is prevalent in Brent.
I chose to present a medley of various styles to acknowledge the diversity that is present (which also acknowledging that I could not represent all communities and cultures in the 90 minutes I was allotted).
The medley consisted of Lavani, Bhangra and Garba.
However...the night before the technical rehearsal(!) changes had to be made to the timings of the event meaning our segment now had to be combined with another sequence that told the story of the choreographer Kavya. This meant the music had to change to an instrumental and very western beat. While there was no time to change the choreography, it now meant there was nothing to mark where the styles of dance changed, the rhythm was much slower and of course we now had to perform the whole routine facing the audience - bearing in mind one of the dances was a garba!
I take my hat off to the performers - many of whom were non-dancers - who adapted amazingly well with only 48 hours until show-day!!
The first video here shows the Lavani section - that should have been performed to Apsara Aali (you can see the difference in tempo! While the second video shows how the performance was initially intended.
