Cutest tiny leave from the #calistophylla cutting I got in November 😀
Buuuuut after taking the picture and looking at it closely I discovered slightly brown stains on top and bottom of that new little leaf.
Any ideas why that is? Maybe fungus?
I’ve closed for a weeks holiday.
The Etsy shop will remain open (turnaround time has been extended to cover the break). Orders can still be placed, & I will be in touch between Friday 28th Feb & Sunday 1st March, with proofs. Orders will be posted ASAP, following proof approval, when I return to work on Monday 2nd March.

~ Elley Villa, later known as Aylesford, was originally located on the outskirts of downtown Lexington, Kentucky, on an ample and picturesquely landscaped estate that at one time included a race track. It is now in the heart of the city on Linden Walk. This spacious two-story Gothic Revival residence of brick construction was built in 1851 for cotton planter William R. Elley and his wife, Louisa Johnson Elley, whose primary home for the fall and winter was Swan Island plantation in Washington County, Mississippi. Mrs. Elley grew up in the Pope Villa designed by Benjamin Latrobe a block away. John McMurtry (1812-90), a native of Lexington, was the architect involved; however, he borrowed from two designs in A. J. Downings's 1850 “The Architecture of Country Houses” for the house's plans. The front elevation of Elley Villa more closely follows Design XXXI, "A Villa in the Pointed Style," while the arrangement of rooms is strikingly similar to XXVI, "A Country House in the Pointed Style" ~ Elley Villa has been cited as the southernmost structure built to one of Downing’s designs.

This has to be one of the most exciting installs I’ve designed to-date. Created in celebration of @howardparkwines partnership with @waballet and inspired by their sparkling Jeté collection. 🥂
I absolutely loved the challenge of the brief. The design was to suspend from their 9m ceiling, be light weight, long lasting and incorporate worn pointe shoes generously donated by @waballet
It’s a reflection of the graceful, weightless movement of ballerinas and even has moving elements to the design. I was fortunate enough to happen to meet some of the dancers that came down to see... So nice meeting you and in awe of what you can do. 🙌🏼
If you’re keen to see for yourself, head to @howardparkwines cellar door soon! It will be suspended only for a short time longer.
Thanks so much @howardparkwines for the opportunity and the freedom to be inspired and create something different. It was such a pleasure.
