That moment when the queen of #landscape#architecture — Andrea Cochran — honors your team’s work with a National ASLA Award...then leans in while on stage and whispers “I loved this project!” Pretty sure life is now complete!!!
Thrilled to share this recognition with my incredible team — Darla Callaway, Kevin Stewart, Matt Moritz, Colten McDermott, Adam Mekies, Nicholas DiFrank, Hong Gao and Brandon Huttenlocher. Thanks for your willingness to put up with my crazy ideas! .
Not sure what the fuss was about this black 🤣 Everyone called it a sandbag. I thought it was awesome. Ahaha finally my levers helped 🤪

The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you can't achieve it.
So many bullshit excuses stop people getting to the gym these days!
- “I don’t have time”
- “I don’t want to get too big”
- “I’m too tired”
- “I will go tomorrow”
Then there are some valid excuses... - “What if people judge me”
- “what if I do it wrong”
Everybody has a starting point, even the best started from scratch.
What I have found most is that people in a gym won’t judge, they understand and are more than likely willing to help!
So go get shit done 💪🏼
Started off the week building some bigger boulders 🤘🏼 Always good to switch up your routine, I normally would start the week off with legs or chest...it’s just what works for me. Give this workout a shot 🤜🏼🤛🏼 1. Smith machine pin press 4x4
2. Dumbbell alternating front raise
3. Smith machine upright row
If the landscaping world had a “best seller design” this would be it! It embodies the Texas native look, it’s SUPER low-maintenance, looks fabulous year-round, and has a lot of dimension. When you can bring the right balance of greenery, stone and rock (that compliment but don’t “match”), varying heights and grasses (movement)..... you’ll be onto something wonderful. This happened to our one our favorite #fixerupperhgtv landscapes that we did. We are a sucker for that Texas native landscape!
Look at him trying to photobomb me...you did well little dude, you did well 👏🏼

(Overdue) Roadtrip Diaries - Our creek adventures involved me mostly getting shut down but on our visit to Cat Wall, Brad suggested I try Burl Dog 12+. The moves were more climb-y than crack-y and included my signature ‘butt shuffle’ - rubbing your butt along the wall while laybacking small cracks - While Brad shouted gear beta to me, I messed up the sequence then placed a .1 and .2 that I was sure would pop. Entering a ‘no fall zone’ for a brief moment, I guess I experienced the trad climber’s motivational fear that kept me gripped to the rock with all my soul. I traversed on the tiny crimps to the end and sent my first 12+ on gear. These tiny cammed climbs seem to be my jam 🍇

Do you prefer climbing or bouldering?
Let me know why in the comments!😃
I prefer bouldering, because its more social and its easier accessible!
