• Moving a little slow this Tuesday... is anyone else having a hard time getting motivated today?
🇺🇸🇬🇧This is all I could manage for today's breakfast: yogurt, walnuts, figs and some slightly roasted grapes.
🇹🇩Singura creatie culinara de pe ziua de azi: micul-dejun. Azi mai mult nu se poate... iaurt cu nuci, smochine si niste struguri trasi un pic in tigaie. De ce? Pt ca isi intensifica aroma si adauga un pic de caldura iaurtului rece.

Today I decided to try something new with my fruit toppings on my oats. I cooked them all together on top of the oats in the microwave and they turned into a lovely colourful melt!
Topped them with some cinnamon and a little Hermesetas natural sweetener. .
One of the best things we did for our son is get him started on his morning shakes. He loves it! Right now his favorite is with Almond Milk, Water, Banana, Spinach, Almond Butter, Vanilla Plant-Based Protein, Oatmeal, and Cinnamon. 🌿💚

Breakfast at @brandyscafedowntown in flagstaff AZ - wow what an incredible spread. Bacon and avocado eggs Benedict 🥑🥓 roasted potatoes 🥔 buttermilk pancake 🥞 chorizo and egg scramble 🥚🐽 and the BEST BEST biscuits and gravy with sausage we have ever had. All the dishes were great (even though I don’t like pancakes, I still ordered one and could appreciate the quality of it) but let me just say, Wow, the biscuits and gravy completely stole the show. It’s texture was crispy on the edge like a freshly fried doughnut with perfect buttery flavor and fluffy layers all at the same time. Sausage was flavorful and the gravy had a looser texture than most, but still hearty and fulfilling.
Our service was A+ 💯 Hunter was so kind and made good beer recommendations with a warm smile. Service was speedy but not rushed. I really liked the old school trivial pursuit cards at the table to keep us entertained.

Alright Monday, açai you!! 👀😂 I fell in love with açai in NYC, but I didn't know what I was missing in Cali! It seemed as though around every corner was a fresh, organic açai bowl waiting for me. 🙌🏼 It's probably my favorite breakfast option out there. What's yours?! 🥣

✨ if I’m being totally honest, I don’t make CHOCOLATE CHIP MONKEY BREAD MUFFINS nearly enough. ✨
the kids are home from school today - I thought about surprising them with a batch, but my husband whipped up both pancakes AND waffles while I was hiding away at my desk, and for that I am eternally grateful. seriously, dad goals. or maybe husband goals?? I don’t even care, I’m just so happy I didn’t have to deal with the kids! 💃🏻 currently trying to figure out if I should volunteer to wash dishes or not… 😂 recipe linked in prof!
Gooseberries, blueberries, almond yogurt + hempseeds
Gooseberry has tons of vitamin C, A, and manganese which is known helps with osteoporosis, arthritis and helps the body to absorb calcium 💪🏽
Now I know the right proportions, fruit is the main course, yogurt is just the topping 😉

My 2 year old son loves it.... he was introduce to it at an early age and I think it was key in him liking it so much. He calls it ‘salad’ 🤣

Well when I added the chocolate collagen I was instantly reminded of the cocoa krispies cereal but the French version cus I was only allowed to eat it when I was at my Meme’s house in France over the summer growing up 😂
👉1/2 cup each riced cauli + quick oats + 1 cup almond milk + splash vanilla + 1 scoop @furtherfood chocolate collagen. Topped with cooked banana & PB

You guys... I made an omelette!! Not a scramble, but an omelette. And it looks halfway decent! 💃 (happy dance). I haven’t made an omelette in for-ev-er.... because when I was younger, every time I tried they flopped. They’d break apart, the eggs weren’t cooked properly, and they’d just look like a mess. So, I defaulted to scrambles. Because scrambles are supposed to look like a mess (and I was good at that). 😂 But lately I got a bee in my bonnet to give it another go. And it’s funny how with fresh eyes and new knowledge (after many, many years)... it wasn’t so difficult after all. Like the saying goes...if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again (even if you need a 15 year break in the middle). Ha! So I’m gonna keep experimenting with different techniques and fillings. And maybe once I feel I’ve completely mastered it, I’ll do a YouTube video. Would you be interested in that? Happy Saturday! 😊
