The kids have been keeping busy by playing for hours in the river! With that comes dirt and mud stains 😩
As we close the end of the day, how is everyone doing?
Are we taking to time to give ourselves some self-love?
Are we making sure we breathe, when things are not the same as it was before?
Are we giving space to our loved ones that are living with us?
So many unanswered questions? right?

🧘🏽♀️MINDFUL MINUTES 🧘🏽♀️. . . Joy is the word that comes to mind when I look at this picture. I just HAD to go on a walk yesterday (maintaining proper social distancing rules of course). I just sat down, looked up at the sky and felt so thankful for the opportunity to look up and be looking at the sky instead of my ceiling for once. I sat down and felt the cool breeze of air on my skin and watched the clouds turn pink as the sun set. It’s so important to practice awareness, stillness, and being in the moment. So I challenge you, if you are able, to step outside on the balcony, outside of your door, or even just open a window and feel the crisp spring air as the sun sets in the evening. Take a deep breath and listen to the sounds coming in. Look up at the sky, maybe hear the pitter patter of the rain and be truly grateful for it. Moments like these help us appreciate the little things we take for granted in our daily busy lives. So take a moment, be still, and find your peace today :). -Sahar .

Adding more habits to my daily routine... Ever since my martial arts days I have always tried to incorporate some kind of waking the body up in the mornings. These stretches and movements were a must back in the days, I just need to make this a daily routine from now on out! For those that know me ever wondered why I can do that weird thing with my hands? Well it’s from all those years of stretching in my MA days!! 🕷
This year I dropped my intense training to give my body time to heal. Only a few weight sessions earlier this year but I’m really concentrating on walking walking walking.
Oh and incorporating more stretching, meditation and yoga into my days.
Life changes, priorities change, my life has changed so much over the past 5 years or so. I loved my boot camp days, my obstacle courses, my PT’s, My gym days, my fitness challenges. It all helped me become the person I am today and I will be forever grateful. Just as my years of Martial Arts, it had a huge impact on me, my body, my mindset, my life.
Anyway I will stop babbling now and hope you all started your long weekend with something that makes you come alive!! Today I woke, drank a large jar of water, stretched and activated my whole body, tried the 5 Tibetan rites and then went for a walk in the crisp fresh air 💙

My go-to’s when I’m feeling anxious or stressed: painting my nails, coloring/doodling, reflecting on things I’m grateful for, cooking, and praying/meditating.
Figure out what you #love , and do more of that. Oh yeah, and #breathe 💜
It's Easter weekend my lovelies and I am sending out to you all, my love, my light, and my blessings. Enjoy each other's company if you happen to be with the ones you love. It's April. It's Friday. The sun hasn't risen. Not yet. The clock's ticking is louder at this hour as if demanding to be noticed.
It's 4:49 AM. The world is still asleep.
But I'm awake.
I'm awake. And I notice it- I'm different.
I rush out of bed.
I feel light.
And at this moment, fixing myself a cup of coffee is not burdensome.
Being alive is exciting.
Happiness seems tangible in the here and now.
So maybe this is what home does to the soul.
The sun is beginning to rise. All of me is alive to see it.

But I keep coming back to this trip
I can still remember every detail of this moment and so many others from this trip:
The smell of the salty air
The feeling of the morning sun on my skin as it burns off the, ever so slight, chill in the air
The warm sensation of sand particles dancing under my feet
And the sounds of the waves building over the reef and crashing into the sand
It’s moments like this that remind me what I know, so deeply, to be true for me
Simplicity and minimalism
Presence and nature
Water and sunshine
Full inhales and deep exhales
My cup of happiness overflows when I engage with and surround myself with these truths
My armor feels light
My heart pure 🤍
