My go-to palette since I received it has been the bare necessities palette... the formula is just so creamy buttery and pigmented and the packaging is I think my favourite ever from Colourpop. It honestly feels so luxe and expensive 🤩🤩🤩 #obsessed

The word feminism is tainted.
A dirty f word. Say it out loud and you'll get glares and whispers. You become targets. It's tainted because the world is afraid of women who have found the power in their own voices. It's tainted because some people still believe that equality isn't important. It's tainted because we still live in a world where women are afraid to walk down the street alone and girls are married as children. Somehow because it has "fem" in its name it people can't accept it.
The word feminism is tainted, but so is the pseudo notion of equality that we think exists. It may be 2019, but equality still doesn't exist and we won't stop until it does.
The word feminism is tainted, but we will use it with honour. We will stand up, stand together and stand tall.
Feminism is equality for all.

Let's get serious. Over the past few days i've seen A LOT of posts about India and rape via social media. I recently watched a video on @southasiantribe's feed (https://www.instagram.com/p/B5VYVuhlQ8k/) which really disgusted me by what people's thoughts were on the matter. When the subject of rape is brought up (in particular in India because it is one of the most dangerous places for women), it makes me feel ashamed to be Indian.
Why does old school thinking make it OK for boys to be treated better than girls? Why are we objectified like this? Why do they think it's the girls fault? She can wear what she wants, she can be out late at night, she be alone. Why do these things make her a target? It shouldn't yet, it does. Hearing parts of the video in the link above with boys saying it's the girls fault because of all those things made me angry, the whole video made me sick and angry. But why are they not taught to just leave a girl alone? I also read a post regarding the Bollywood film industry's part in the way of thinking in India which back then, i didn't really take notice of but looking back, with the boy following the girl, touching her, grabbing her - this was not acceptable, yet it probably gave the impression it was OK to do so.
There's soooo much i could say but i don't want this negativity to take up too much space. Instead, there should be equality in the way boys and girls are brought up, and even in today's world within some Asian families, that still doesn't happen. Boys should be taught that girls can do whatever they can do, girls can be whatever they want to be. We do stuff for ourselves, not to be leered at or touched or raped. Leave girls alone and teach boys how to respect women instead of telling girls what to do India.
