C A M P A N U L A
Love the delicate ness of these, they have such a gentle beauty, wish I'd grown white ones as well this year. They last well in the vase in this heat & this weeks flowerclub is definitely going to have a blue hue.
A plethora of British Blooms are available in June, such a lovely time to get married. We would of been creating flowers for two weddings this week, our thoughts are with those couples with their celebratory plans on hold x
🌹❤️ A posy so rosey ❤️🌹
I will have bouquets for days with all this rosey garden love! Everyday there is more. Now we've put in all of the hard work and effort over the last couple of months, we can now sit back and relax in our little sanctuary. The June jobs will be to enjoy all of this - oh and I'll most definitely be deadheading and producing pretty posies! Happy Tuesday gardening guys and gals! ❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️
Day 2 @mygardenthismonth June Jobs
The first of June 2020 - and so we move with tentative steps into summer. 🤞
Life in the garden has been moving swiftly on with all this warm weather. I’ve been planting and sowing in the hope that the late Summer & Autumn weddings can still go ahead. Flowers come and go and it’s lovely to capture those different mixes. I’ve used the last of the ranunculus in this bouquet along with those big blousy peonies. The peonies and other beauties are in full swing so if you’d like a bunch of flowers or a bouquet do get in touch. I’m in the #thringstone area today & Thursday and home at #measham the rest of the week. #givealittlebeauty
Market bouquets and bunches of flowers at the Davis Farmers Market now until 1 or sell out whichever comes first. Come get them while they last!
They went really fast last week so we brought more English and French lavenders; Hidcote, Munstead, Grosso/Provence ; more White Nite Sunflowers and more bunches of other flowers that popped open in the heat this week.
The last of the tulips for the season...here today at our Saturday Market. Don’t miss out, they are beautiful and right from Holland!!! Hope to see you out here today and remember to practice safe measures please. The Saturday Market is our new service and we look forward to seeing you come out Burlington...happy day 🤗🤗
It’s giveaway time!
We all have been impacted in some way by Covid 19.
My sister-in-law is a nurse and contracted Covid, she was looked after by amazing staff at her hospital and thankfully is home making good progress.
As a thank you to all the amazing key workers out there we are going to giveaway two bunches of flowers. One for you and one for the person you nominate.
So to enter follow us and nominate a key worker who you think deserves a bunch of flowers.
Giveaway is open to the UK only.
Competition closes 12 noon on the 30th May 2020.
Just loving the colours of summer and the frothy whites making an appearance just as we should have been heading into peak wedding season.
Fortunately the flowers are all finding homes due to a supportive local community and very loyal customer base. We've had to adapt and change from wedding focus quickly back to bunching flowers and setting up a local delivery round. It's working and I am hugely grateful to have work and meet at a distance such lovely people enthusing over their flower deliveries.
Tuesday...in case your not sure... lots of lovely local flowers coming later this week for our bunches and our next plant of the month will be revealed along with another giveaway... keep a look out 👀 💐
A couple weeks back I invited people to help uplift a local nursing home afflicted with Covid-19 by helping us send flowers, cards and pocket snacks. An update: We ended up gathering $530 for flowers, anout two hand written cards per resident, more than 400 snacks, 40 hand-sewn masks and $100 more for a music player of some sort (I’ve yet to purchase; if you have any suggestions please send them my way). Anyway, Yesterday @blumafarm delivered 36 farm fresh bouquets! Thank you to everyone who sent funds for flowers and to @blumafarm for working with us to get every resident (and then some!) their own bunch of hand-picked love.
The market is open and Lauren and Maureen will be there until 1 or sell out, whichever comes first.
They brought the first bunches of Horizon and Procut Orange sunflowers for the season both are pollenless hybrids. We've been using the first ones that popped up as focal flowers in some of our market bouquets. This week we had enough to sell in bunches. They also have buckets of fresh as well as bags of dried destemmed lavender and dried flower bouquets.
More of this please 🙏🏻
Bouquets for Jessie and Karen’s intimate wedding last year. When it features honey dijon, cappuccino and hot rock roses you know it’s going to be good.

Achewwwwww! 🤧 These little devils not only have a ghastly scent, they make me sneeze too. However I still buy them because they are the sweetest, happiest little flower in flowerlandia! Dreams of spring...🌿💙🌿💚🌿💛
Never has a small handful of short anemones been so appreciated! This endless February is becoming a bit of a struggle, if I’m honest.... but these little cheerful faces are wonderful for lifting the spirits😊
Even if we can’t feel it, the garden knows that spring is just around the corner. Everything is growing really fast now, ready for the exciting flower filled workshops I have planned. Are you coming? I’d love to see you! 😊 #maketimeforyourself#pinkstripedays
