Your platform is your message and your fan base -- people who know you or who align themselves with people you know. Your demographic is the market you're after, and you want to have statistics about that market at your fingertips. For example, if your market is women, be aware that they make or influence 85 percent of purchasing decisions, and that they are starting businesses at twice the rate of men. Find out the spending power and purchasing habits of your target market. Research the median income and educational level.
Consider the publications your demographic reads. Then ask for media kits from those publications. According to Hollander, media kits will reveal amazing things about your demographic--all provided for free. Don't forget cause-related marketing, either.
"This is so hot that it's scorching," said Hollander. "People want to purchase from companies that give back to the community. If you change lives in a positive way, that's cause-related marketing." Sponsors will be eager to come aboard, said Hollander.

I tell clients all the time you can't just build a website and hope you one day find yourself on page one and getting meaningful traffic from Google or any other search engine. You need to OUTPACE your competition! The only way to do that, is to be consistent, create content that speaks to your user's pain points often and use proven SEO (search engine optimization) tactics to rank your site.

"How do you make sure your client's ''voice'' stays theirs in their captions?" ❓⠀
This was the awesome question posed to me by @tracey.jazmin the other day and one that I have never been asked before.❗️⠀
The best compliment to receive is that my portfolio looks AND "sounds" so different across clients. ⠀
That is the goal, after all -- for each client to be fully represented as themselves and within their OWN brand identity. ⠀
So, how do we maintain a consistent voice when managing a client's account? 🤔⠀
I created a system that has been a game changer...⠀
We IDENTIFY, DEFINE, and MAINTAIN that voice!⠀
1️⃣ IDENTIFY: during this process, we have our client fill out a branding questionnaire. This asks specific questions like "which words best describe your brand?", but also more broad ones like "who is your target audience?". ⠀
We will review any branding collateral the client may already have, if this is done well then the voice is easier to imagine already!⠀
You need to understand the BRAND but also the BRAND'S AUDIENCE. 👁🗨⠀
The way you write to reach under 18's is very different than the way you would write to reach someone in their mid 30's. ⠀
Geographically speaking-- for American clients, I remember to use different spelling for certain words (ie favour vs favor).🇺🇸⠀
The audience you are writing for will (to some extent) influence the brand voice itself. You wouldn't use pop culture slang to entice a baby boomer (ie "lit AF" 🔥)⠀
2️⃣ DEFINE: at this point we will "story board" a few sample posts and captions. ⠀
We also compile the information sourced from step 1 to create a voice framework.⠀
This gives the client the opportunity to review our work and either approve or request revisions be made to the voice. ⠀
3️⃣MAINTAIN: Once approved, we create a mini-brand guide that we refer to monthly when we are drafting captions. Since we batch work (and have the month planned out weeks ahead) this allows us to stay "in character" while writing. Some clients review each post in advance to add some tweaks, others don't care to see the posts until they are published!

Existe um site chamado Farejador de Imagens que consiste em fazer buscas em vários bancos de imagens gratuitos ao mesmo tempo. Ele reúne as principais imagens com a palavra chave que você escolher e busca nos sites que você selecionou. É bem simples de usar. ⠀

Comment to grow organically
Comment on some posts from the same niche: no matter the followers they have. To be honest, I've got more followers by commenting on accounts that have under 1000 followers than adding comments on some bigger accounts. Probably, because smaller accounts get fewer comments and when they see them, they will likely engage or follow you.
Offer added value. Help other users or answer them. Share your knowlegde and experience!
If a person has asked a question and you can help him/her, you can reply even earlier than the orginal poster. They will appreciate it and may follow you.
Don't promote yourself! Some people add comments just to promote themselves. Don't do that. It looks so spammy. Have you ever seen any post or comment where I promote myself? 😊
