PLEASE MIND YOUR HEAD! Oh, this tickled me. A FUNNY for this morning regarding language translations. Well it's funny to me. Lol I think we've all had that moment when we tell someone a funny story and their faces say, "What's so funny? Lol. Well, here goes, for those who do not know, I'm on a FUNNY LOCATOR SQUAD @gwendolynfayepoet@tameakascottdixon (laughter is medicine, btw) So on the bus in Kenya we see this sign. In America it translates to - Please WATCH your head, so as not to incur injury. @soniamilneradams says that's a revelation. I laughed so hard. I thought about the scripture that tells us to not trust the heart for it is wicked above all things. Synonomously. I say under my breath, Sonny you should have MINDED your (mind of Christ head) as I thought back on the many human moments I've beckoned to my heart as leader. So on this Tuesday when those sketchy moments arise, I know someone needs to hear PLEASE MIND YOUR HEAD! And hopefully this makes you laugh a little, like it did me. #mindofchrist#language#languagetranslations#translations#busride
Fun times with Linnet while on board a double deck bus 🚌
Chat, giggle, laugh, make silly faces taking pictures.
Nice bonding time with her as there is no school for her since yesterday and I am enjoying every single moment.
Sitting on the bus and having this view would never be able to bore me. Being in Nature I always quickly (re-)connect to my own nature, my own core, so direct and clearly. All layers I have put on, eventhough scarcely and so thin, immediately fall and nothing but true me is left.

Heading home again. Mondays tend to get tense. But this year seems fine even tho I always have to return to the week with the first four straight. But with exp accumulated, more space to thk and plan on friday before leaving for weekend, I have been overall safe. So for today.
So as soon as I returned to the desk, 4/5 classes done with a brief fulfilment. Thats almost where I concluded today not bad. Today is only half half productive and zero efficient. Coz instead of setting a mindful time to finish work and then yoga, I let myself drag on. That led me to mark some writings, but still 5pieces to go. And yet it was already 7.15 then.
Girl gang..... just hanging at the base of the driveway each morning👯♀️. Two weeks before school, Ellie decided she was going to start riding the bus. (Small disclaimer- I never rode a bus growing up.... I was 100% on board with this plan until every parent I talked with gave me a laundry list as to why their kids are no longer allowed to😬). Not only does she LOVE being a bus rider & seeing her friends on there, we get to start our mornings right here. Sitting outside in a quiet neighborhood with zero distractions. Not rushing. Lots of time for hugs. And they tell me the BEST stories! They get each other excited for a great day and we all leave in a much better mood than we used to.
Are these guys following me.....lol
Super fun with a bunch of kids in a bus all celebrating a birthday while we tour around the city... Everything falls in place when you have the right recipe to cook up the fun
Thank you Saby and Shilpa and moreover
Many more Happy Birthdays to Aarie
Such a long #busride from Durrës crossed the border of #Albania to the capital city of Montenegro, #Podgorica . It’s not a long distance only less than 200 km but somehow took us almost 8 hrs to reach here. I envied some passengers managed to sleep so well in the bus but I can’t. Arrived safely with puffy 🐼 eyes, so #tired but still pretty excited about this country.
Took this photo first week of September last year when I got off the bus stop - my first time to ride one. For two years, I only managed to ride a taxi whenever my husband is not around to bring or to fetch me.
When I accepted the offer to teach English in the immigration office as a volunteer last year, I thought it's time for me to ride the bus because it's a bit far from home. Since then, I rode the bus in going to downtown and public market or in coming home after my prenatal checkups. But I haven't ridden in months, after giving birth this year. I'm not sure though when I'll have the guts to ride a bus while carrying a baby.
