While navigating uncertain waters over the course of the last few weeks, which none of us have ever tread before, I have been attending morning motivations with my KW family every morning along with multiple ZOOM calls/trainings covering many topics including how to stay positive/motivated through crisis, how to be a valuable resource for those who have questions or are anxious about the current events, and, most importantly, how to be a light in the darkness.
One of the topics this week which really resonated with me was GIVING GRACE...not just to others, but also to myself. So often we are all our own worse critic and I have always been especially hard on myself. As I reflected on GIVING GRACE, I realized the following:
⭐️Imperfection is perfection
⭐️We are not always going to get it right
⭐️There's no such thing as failure if you learn from it
⭐️Rarely does everyone expect you to get it right...especially the first time
⭐️The imperfections are what attracts others to our creations and what makes them stand out
So, for everyone who is now working from home, homeschooling your children, and/or looking for a job for the first time, please know it is OKAY to not get it perfect. It is OKAY to feel overwhelmed, anxious, sad, mad, and all the other feels. Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and GIVE yourself GRACE! ✨
