Hey All. Still unpacking and moving stuff this weekend so it looks like I sadly won’t make it to @disneyland until 2/1 to hopefully ride #riseoftheresistance ! Le sigh 😔 but as I count the days until I can get back to my happy place and ride this incredible ride I’ll be enjoying these #milleniumfalcon ice cream 🍦 sandwiches! They are the cutest and tastiest treats this side of the parsec! You can get them in Kroger chain stores like @ralphsgrocery , Food For Less, Kroger etc. They come 6 in a box so I say get two boxes because these babies are hard to find and sell out quickly! As I was told at the grocery store. So run out and get some now! They are the perfect treat to celebrate this new #starwars adventure at #Disneyland with! 🙌🎉 #galaxysedge#starwarsfan#starwarsnerd#starwarsfamily#disneysmc#disneyinfluencer
Dreaming about Disneyland while stuck in the cold.
About that trip. We spent two days, one for Disneyland and another for California Adventure. Rosie loved the Little Mermaid ride, train, carousel, and most especially the parade! We didn’t get to go on It’s a small world and Dumbo rides- the long lineups just weren’t worth it. She got to meet and chat with all of Mickey and friends though! She loved her autograph book and memorized all the characters’ signatures 🤣
So here are some of our disney tips to share: ▪️You are allowed to bring as much of your own drinks and snacks! We even brought in a box of Portos 🤣
▪️Bring disney merchandise from home, disney outlet or even the dollarstore! We managed to leave without buying any overpriced disney park toys 😆 ▪️Toddlers below 3 years old are free! On any of the theme parks we went to. No IDs needed. ▪️The park is very stroller friendly and safe. Just NO WAGONS. Or selfie sticks.
▪️We felt like fastpass wasn’t worth it with a toddler. ▪️For parents wanting to do rides, don’t forget about RIDE SWITCH so the other person watching the kid doesn’t have to wait in line again
▪️If you are not watching the parade, make use of that time and go on the most popular ride you want! Or even plan to go right after the parade. We did that for seeing Mickey Mouse. ▪️Look up the programs for Reading with Belle, Mickey’s dance party and other fun toddler activities ▪️There’s a playground at Toontown where toddlers can shed some energy and be free
▪️Characters have a lot less lineups at California Adventure! We met 4/6 characters there. We only had to lineup for Mickey Mouse at Disneyland. ▪️Canadians get 20% off tickets for 3 days or more
▪️Get a FREE pin at any store! Just ask for it :) ▪️Most importantly, don’t forget to watch the parade and fireworks! Rosie still watches our videos every day ❤️
Overall it was hectic but Rosie loved it. She still talks about Disneyland every day. But maybe next time it will be on a cruise so it’s more relaxing 😊 Feel free to DM us if you have any questions 💫
Disney’s #LunarNewYear celebration kicks off today at Disney California Park! ✨🧧🎊
From now until February 9th experience all the magic honoring the Lunar New Year with fun, food, and entertainment for the whole family. I appreciate that Disney holds this celebration because it highlights traditions that I grew up with celebrating the LNY. I’m a whole mix of everything, but mainly Filipino & Chinese from my mom’s side. So celebrating Chinese New Year was something my family would come together to do. (More on my entire #AsianStory to come soon 😉). Being able to see part of my heritage being represented by @disney and @disneyland makes my heart full. Best of all? Being able to share the fun with my own son is something quite special. ❤️
We’re bummed we couldn’t make it for the opening weekend, but excited to see it all in person soon! Until then, here’s one of my favorite moments experiencing Disney’s #LNY celebration last year: when Mulan and Big Mushu met mini Mushu!
