We are all travel lovers. There are those who love adventure, those who want to know new places, some new cultures, those who just want to have a stamp on their passport to show. I have seen people who: "nooo! I don't miss that!" Then post the photo of his trip to a faraway place where he did worse!
Ok! You have seen so many places in the known world .... but how much do you know your land? How much do you know about your land? Every now and then, even if no one puts the stamp in your passport to show, take it for a ride "in your home" and do it as guests, as tourists, as humble people. You will discover many things about your home, but above all about yourself!
And if you want to be accompanied .... here we are!
Ever thought about why we call it a bonfire? 🔥🔥🔥
The word is believed to come from "bone fire". In the time of the Celts, there were midsummer festivals where animal bones were burnt to ward off evil spirits.🔥 #glassonthegrass
Nashville Hot Chicken Baked Salmon on the pit today 🐟 🌶 🔥
I have been craving some salmon for the past week. Wanted to cook it in a unique way so you get the flavor of the fish and campfire really nicely. I decided to make this Nashville Hot Chicken Baked Salmon on my fire pit!
Started by laying out a sheet of tin foil topped with a sheet of parchment paper. I grew up cooking with tin foil, but I know that some people do not use it anymore. You can easily copy this recipe with a cast iron covered skillet. I used parchment paper to help avoid the food being in too much contact with the tin foil. I layered some kale on the bottom (I know... kale...) so the salmon wouldn’t stick too bad. I lathered it in oil and my Nashville Hot Chicken rub from @spiceology. Topped with lemon slices then wrapped and thrown into the fire. Let it cook for about 8 minutes until it was nice and tender. Pulled it off and put on some butter and honey in my @lodgecastiron bbq pan to heat up. Poured the honey butter mix over top of the salmon and dig in! It was delicious 👍 🍻
