Moab used to be a hop, skip and a jump from where we used to live in Colorado. It was the first place many people would go for a camping adventure after the ski mountains closed. And to be honest it would be hard to find a campsite during this time!
But much of Moab has shut down their public land and campgrounds to outside visitors at this time. 🏜
I haven’t been this happy in a long time. I haven’t felt comfortable with life, I haven’t felt this empowered. Emotionally, financially, creatively. I’m blissfully content with my home, friends, new community, & opportunities that have and have yet to arise. ⠀
So exuberantly happy, so peaceful aware. I feel like me again. Like spring bloomed inside my body. ⠀
Much love from me. 🤍

It is not the best place for those who suffer from vertigo but taking a jog to reach this magnificent view of the Dolomites is worth it.🏃🏻♂️🏔 Tag a friend you would like to bring here!

Happy Sunday! Loved this hike from a few weeks ago. I’m sure now you can see across the whole bay with the air quality improving so much.
I’m looking forward to reading and getting some exercise in today. It always feels like the weekend passes too quickly even in these times. How about you?

Our sense of smell is closely linked with memory, probably more so than any of our other senses. Smells are known to evoke particular memories and can happen spontaneously; allowing us to recall and enjoy a long-forgotten event or experience. What are some of your most precious nostalgic smells from the outdoors?
We love the smell of a wood burning stove or campfire— brings us back to chopping wood in the cool winter air with our fathers. The way the smell embodies our hair and clothes and lingers for days. What about you? Is there a particular smell of the outdoors that brings you comfort? #OMEgear

"Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach of us more than we can ever learn from books."
Experience of camping @ beach was great experience. The sound of waves while sleeping makes you feel in heaven.
Social distancing, work from home!? Social distancing I get, and my job was the first to be sacrificed as restaurants and bars closed. Jessica and I went from having good jobs in a community we love, to wondering if we’ll need to move due to a high cost of living with no work. If this has taught me anything it’s never take what you have for granted, and also to appreciate the simple things in life. We still have a roof over our heads, a really comfy one, plenty of food, and a healthy family. Practicing gratitude makes this whole experience so much more bearable!❤️
Sharing happy places during challenging times.
I took a few months off from travel and deleted Instagram for a while. My creativity was low and I knew my mental health needed time to reflect. Then right as my travel year started, it ended.
But I am safe, healthy, and surviving the storm. I am thankful that I am not high-risk and already work from home. There is plenty of travel ahead, whenever that time comes. Yesterday I threw myself a pity party knowing I should be standing at Machu Picchu. Today I feel better.
For all those forced to sit home and battle with their mentality in these times surrounded by unknowns, I am here for you. My anxiety has attempted to creep in. Thankfully I'm keeping it at bay.
Hugs to you if you had to cancel your dream trip you saved five years for. Hugs if your wedding is suddenly postponed. Hugs to all my friends who are expecting, small business owners, or struggling to get by.
Responsible decisions and supporting each other are what will ease the pain. The world is calling, but right now we must not go.
