To think back to where I was on this day last year, 2017 began very sad. I thought losing my dog was hard, but losing my best friend was a whole different wave of emotions. For the next few months and on and off throughout the year I was sad and depressed, BUT I refused to stop moving and felt I had to make a horrible situation good somehow, and I did just that.
This year marked my first full year with Jason Lee and the R.I.P.tides and along with playing some fun local shows, we went on an amazing journey to Italy to play a music festival. If that wasn’t enough we then performed as an orchestra!
I became Batgirl for The Rayford Bros./ Batband.
I was accepted to a University to pursue my primate studies!
I joined and practiced my butt off with my new tahitian dance group and did my first two Tahitian dance shows as well as made a whole new group of friends.
I was featured on the podcast Inside the Desert Oasis Room and in the magazine Camp Out Magazine. Took some fun local travel trips with my boyfriend of now 2 years. And I turned 30!
So don’t ever think you cant do something, and don’t let anything hold you back… you are stronger than you think!
See you soon 2018!
