Watched @gamechangersmovie last night at the premier in whistler.
Such an inspiring movie that feels really well researched 🙏🏻
I personally switched to a plant-based diet 2,5 years ago because I learned more about the impact of meat consumption on the climate and about the reality of the cruelty to animals. Not really knowing if it would negatively impact my energy or performance. I’ve made an effort to learn about supplements and foods that I would need to eat and I feel amazing, yet I know one person‘s experience doesn’t mean much.
That why it’s been really interesting learning about studies and scientific research that show it could be the most healthy option for us as well as something that could increase performance in athletes 🙏🏻
Definitely recommend this movie when it becomes available to watch other places and would love to hear your opinions/thoughts.

More of the best and most beautiful places I’ve explored...the unparalleled north shore, of course!!! 🍂
If there’s one thing that makes northwestern Ontario SUPERIOR, it’s the plethora of amazing opportunities to get outside (see what I did there? Pun intended 🤣)
I spent my first few years in this neck of the woods working in the bush as a forest technician + I learned first hand how abundant the opportunities for outdoor adventure are here! 🍂
Thought I’d share these pics from fall at the top of Mount McKay, since the fall colours are almost here! 🍂
Thanks everyone who’s participated in my nature lovers giveaway (3 posts back). My favourite part is hearing about where you like to spend time outside. Feel free to enter if you haven’t yet! Happy hiking/paddling/trail running/cycling, etc!!! 🍂 #gitcheegumee#lakesuperior#nwo#giveaway#tbay#tbaylovin#yqt#fall
“We cannot lower the mountain, therefore we must elevate ourselves.” The words of pioneer Todd Skinner who, in 1988, not only set a new standard and raised the bar in climbing as he and his partner Paul Piana made the first free ascent of the hallowed Salathé Wall of El Capitan, but also showed the world exactly what authentic adventure apparel could be. On their backs, being expedition proven for the first time, the revolutionary Denali – a zip-in fleece compatible with our Mountain Jacket, and an instant icon. Thirty years later, its bold styling has made it one of the most recognisable and coveted fleece jackets in the world. And in 2019, it’s back with all-new modern colourways and a recycled construction, but the very same classic features that helped Skinner and Piana go harder, faster, further and higher than anyone before them. Hit the shoppable link to learn more about our latest Denali drops. #NeverStopExploring

Who made your socks? 🧦🧦...she did! That’s right, real women knit the socks. Authentic children’s lives are touched. It all happens when you support Fazl. Photograph by the amazing @mathisba.at.web
There's something about vanlife in the mornings that makes me feel I'm exactly where I should be ✨
Leaving the mountains for the Italian coast where my brother and @alan_mccloy will do the full IRONMAN 🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️. It will be so much fun to support them with both our families. Last year it was just me at the sideline for 12 hours chasing every point where I could get a glimpse of Alan 🙈
There is an actual "Sasquatch Calling Festival" coming up this month in Whitehall, NY...for reals, people....

I got back to camp after hiking and it immediately started thunder storming. No quick thing either, and the big kind, the kind where from inside the car it sounded like hail, by dark I saw actual bolts, and it didn’t really let up all night. What a terrifying night that would’ve been if I was the kind who didn’t like storms. But my fire never went out and I backed the car up and took cover in the trunk, drank my wine, and did nothing at all for the next five hours, until falling asleep back there and watching the clouds rise from the river the next morning. And that’s why camping is cool. (Also, I drink velvet devil all the time and didn’t even notice until I saw this picture that it’s very clearly from Washington so like keep it local and stuff).

This photo is from just last week, at one of my favorite camp spots of the summer, 100 miles from the nearest “town,” which consisted of a gas station with a diner on the side and nothing else. A true New Mexico gem. JR caught me heading back home from a wander through the ponderosa trees, and the ground was soft, and the light was soft, and at that moment, my heart was soft too. I love this place in the summer, the wide skies and vacant roads and the lazy way summer lingers into late September. It’s moving, though, and the days are growing shorter. I wish this season would never end....

Building a Thatch Roof Saxon House PART 11 is now live on my youtube channel. Head to the link in my bio to watch! 🏕
“This arch was about 30m (98ft) tall. That’s considered small for Greenland 🇬🇱 We’ve been on the very southern tip of the country were not many icebergs are. On the next day we watched it breaking apart. As icebergs melt, they leak nutrients into the ocean around them. Water surrounding icebergs teems with plankton, fish, and other sea life. We saw a whale in that bay later the same day… 🐋”
