Parenting natural or learned?
I do believe that parenting comes naturally. I am twice as confidence in my innate abilities about parenting. My innate ability is from Allah. The entire universe belongs to Allah, so nothing happens against His Will, and no-one, no matter how powerful, has the capability to do anything against His Will. I firmly believe this, for many of us, Parenting was innate ability, It was living in all of us and magically appear the day our children were born. Allah made all mothers with instincts towards their children. So the question is if parenting comes naturally then why are those parenting books for? These books are for improvements, for self-growth. All the resources including books, guidance, parental course, forums are for learning something new or which we have doubts about. There is no shame in learning and improving yourself. I love to read books. We always remind everyone books are so important, books are your best friend but when it comes to parenting books the majority of people don't accept new parents. Old parents bashing new ones and new are doing the same. I do google a lot, go on websites, orders so many books to become a better person. Whenever I tried to say something like that book is so helpful, I searched on Google very informative topic about this and that. People say to me " you can't raise a child through books, through the internet." They are somehow right but my point is that the internet, Google, books are for awareness. These tools are for gaining more knowledge. If someone puts extra efforts then I don't see the problem in uplifting each other.
Loved the food at @topgunburgers. The INVADER was one colossal burger with three beef patties and drool worthy cheese and bacon.
If you are in the GTA it’s a must try. I had it at the Queen Street location and it was a great experience. The lovely event was arranged by @sidaroundtown
I have partnered up with @topgunburgers to have two lucky winners win a free meal worth $20 each at Kensington location. All you gotta do is:
Today we froze a little, while filling our cups in the Forest. Then we followed that up with #frozen2 and watched Elsa and Anna save the Forest. ❄
Frozen 2 is a beautiful movie ❤ there is SO much sister love, connection and strength; it was a little tough on my heart.
There were a couple moments and songs made me tear up. I felt pretty silly for crying in the theater, but I realize grief doesn't wait for a comfort space, it hits you anytime, anywhere, for any reason.
December is a hard month for me, full of memories, anniversaries and celebrations, all reminding me that someone is missing. I am stronger this year than last, and I know if I stay aware of what I need and how I feel, I'll be ok.
Today I am thankful for quiet forests, my boys who are always down for an adventure, and dark theatres to secretly cry in ✌
8 flights in the last three weeks. 2 of them delayed by weather. The joys of flying out of Canada in winter and having to queue up with everyone else to de ice the plane. Thankfully three of the return flights came from warmer climates so no delays returning. Which isn’t always good. Delayed going to warmer weather and quick to go back to snow.......somethings wrong with this concept. #flyingawayfromsnow#itswarmerinmexico#snowbirds#canadianwinters#wintergetaways
NEW BLOG POST: I’ve been a very bad girl this year. It’s been snowing on and off in Ontario for a month already and I’ve JUST got around to winterizing my car now 🙈 .
Mostly I feel guilty for not installing my winter mats sooner. EVANNEX (@evannex_tesla )was kind enough to send me mats, and I’m finally getting around to putting them in the car now. I think most people can relate, it’s so easy to get caught up with life that taking care of your car can sometimes fall lower on the priority list.
Whose dealing with #puppylife right now?!? .
This is after an hour and 20 min walk he’s finally calmed down. This is also an I wish my puppy wasn’t an a^*hole photo! I love this guy and he’s the perfect addition to our fam but man puppy life is 💯 harder than newborn baby life 😂
All puppies are a*^holes though right? 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Such a shame it's going up to 5C (41 F) for the next couple of days because this is beautiful!
The new hottub is getting used quite a bit in the first week. Here's the wife warming up after a run
Baby wearing mamas, listen up! Now that the colder temperatures are here, doesn't mean that we have to give up the comfort and flexibility of baby wearing (especially if you're like me and are on-foot everywhere in the city.) Thankfully I've got the @kokoala.inc jacket extender in my arsenal of baby products, and it allows me to carry Benny with me while keeping him warm and protected.
The best thing about the Kokoala is that you're able to use it during pregnancy too, which saves having to purchase a whole new maternity jacket (something I refused to-do while preggo and froze my 🍑 off as a result.) This product was developed by a Montreal mama who wanted to get it all done without letting a winter stop her - and a winter in MTL is damn cold! Made in Canada, and when you're done with your extender you can send it back in to donate to a family in need. Use my code LAPETITENOOB20 on your order from now until November 14th and get 20% off your order! #kokoala_partner#babywearing#canadianwinters
