Anyone who knows me, knows one of my massive goals as a photographer is to empower women through my images.
A big part of this is helping support women in breaking down their body insecurities and helping to find their inner power through love of their body. No matter the lumps, bumps, scars or the inner turmoil of toxic words we have been feeding ourselves or others have taught us to think over many years.
It can be as simple as “I don’t like my butt.”, “I was teased for my weight in school.”, to “I was physically abused and torn down by someone I loved, and I learned to see flaws in myself too.”
We, as women, should be able to create safe places for one another to shed the layers of hurt and criticism and watch each other as we are reborn into powerful, beautiful, incredible women. This is what I want to do with my photography.
For Bonny her story is no secret. She was with a man, who she loved with all of her heart but he had a completely different love language to her. She spent 1/3 of her life trying to show him the ways she wanted to be loved but ultimately, they couldn't make it work. She left feeling unwanted, self conscious and insecure.
She has been on the path of rebirth for almost a year now... she decided to shave her long blonde hair off, opened a barber shop and is raising her two gorgeous boys as a single mother. She is kicking so much ass 💪🏻
Our session together has been an extra step in her new path in life. The images of her body in a way she had never seen it before - her sensual, feminine, BEAUTIFUL body - has done wonders for her body confidence. And it’s not hard to see why, look at this smokin’ hot babe!
Thank you for trusting me to be a part of your journey 🧡
Some more tails from last Friday onboard @gowhalewatching Sydney (26.6.20)
Love the shape of their flukes as they gracefully glide back into the ocean.

Thanks to a friend, I started to play guitar again. I've been practicing some songs and I've been feeling so frustrated that I can't play like before. But it is so fun to pick up my old hobby again. Hopefully I can play some of my favorite songs soon! 🎸🎶
Prehistoric rock formations and a fog rolling in, near the Mt Banks picnic area a few weeks ago with @rosecolouredlenses. It was bitterly cold but adrenaline was running high as we discovered this incredible location quite unintentionally! We saw the fog and decided to chase it down a dirt road and ended up here! It was incredible!
