Team Couture is made up of friends and family members of Craig Couture, who was diagnosed with Type III at the age of 15. After graduating from Shenendehowa, he went on to get a B.A. in History at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. After a decade of working in professional sports, he went back to school at Sage Graduate School for a Master's degree in Education. He is currently the Business teacher at Schalmont High School.
Craig had been getting Spinraza injections over the past year and is looking forward to the possibility of future gene therapy drug treatments. With the generosity of people in the Capital District, he hopes that his team can contribute to the possibility of a future cure for SMA.

EXCITING NEWS 🤩
We are so excited to tell y’all that we will officially be adding a new market day to our roster! Starting this Wednesday, September 4th, we will have a second market every week right on Broadway. We will be there from 11:30a-7p, with vendors rotating in and out though the day!
This one will be super cozy with 15-20 vendors, perfect for people spending their day out and about in Troy, new lunch spot anyone? Or for those of you who are coming back to Troy from work and need a last minute ingredient or easy dinner options ✌️
Be sure to check it out this week and let us know what you think!
We harvested this kale this morning and within an hour it was being delivered to @lizasoftroy having travelled a grand total of 2.2 miles from our farm to their kitchen. The restaurants in Troy seriously have the freshest, most local food around.

⭐⭐Website update completed⭐⭐ It has been a labor of love and hardship. The excitement of showcasing our business but doing it without Ryan, our leader for so many years. Taking photos with @jpelario was awesome and fun yet a little sad. But we know Ryan is watching and so proud of our work!
Next time you’re passing through Albany, you have got to stop at @berben_and_wolffs ! Our boys out there make some absolutely delicious vegan eats. This is their Wing Burger which is house made breaded and fried buffalo seitan, matchstick carrots, celery and ranch on a sesame seed bun. They have tons of other awesome stuff too. Everything is a winner. Do not go through Albany without stopping here... it’d be a capital crime! 😂🍔🔥 #vegan#berbenandwolffs#capitaldistrict

The grave of Chester A. Arthur, 21st President of the United States
The son of a fervent abolitionist preacher who had emigrated from Northern Ireland, Chester A. Arthur grew up in upstate New York, where he attended Union College in Schenectady before moving to New York City to practice law. Arthur’s career in New York would see him as the state’s Quartermaster General during the Civil War and then later as Collector of the Port of New York, a position he was appointed to by Ulysses S. Grant. In 1881, James Garfield was sworn in as President with Arthur serving as his Vice President, but by September of that year, Garfield had died after being shot by an assassin. Following Garfield’s death, Arthur was sworn in as President. A kidney ailment would prevent him from campaigning for re-election in 1884, so following his presidency, Arthur moved back to New York City. On November 18, 1886, Chester A. Arthur died after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage. He was buried with his family in Albany Rural Cemetery, where his grave is marked by a bronze angel placing a palm leaf over his sarcophagus.
