I am a person that takes challenges as part of my learning experience. Getting myself directly working and involved with my people in each country helps me to understand what they need. Being generous in sharing my experiences, whether technical or personal matters, is my way of enticing them to become open and cooperative. I encourage my people to embrace change and adapt to new technologies or innovations since these are the keys to provide competitive products. I make sure to recognize efforts and share success with team members to be able to boost everyone's confidence as well.

Say hi to Jason Garding! 👋 Jason has been with Rotochopper for 15 years. He currently runs and programs the automated systems we use in our facility (which is a fancy way of saying he plays with robots 🤖). He loves the challenge of running a new part and doesn't have a favorite piece of Rotochopper equipment ... he says they're all his favorite. ⠀
Thanks for being part of the team, Jason!⠀ #Rotochopper#culture#jobs#careers

The great thing about the RightWay Foundation is that we are not limited in the ways we are willing and able to help our youth.
Greg has completed our 32 hour Operation Emancipation job readiness workshop. Today, our staff was able to take him to different stores to pick out the appropriate materials he needs for his carpentry apprenticeship. Thanks to CRC funding, we were able to cover the costs of this vocational training equipment. The funding from the CRC program has also given us the means to provide him with transportation to his carpentry training program!
Now that Greg has his Timberland steel toe work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, vest, work pants, work shirts, gloves, and transportation, he is ready to start training for a career he has been looking forward to for months! He is one step closer to financial stability, job stability, and independence!
We are so excited for you and wish you all the best, Greg.

OMG. I TOTALLY forgot to post this photo from way back, a couple of months ago... 😲... of me and @playfulzenwellness one of my "good Judy's" in this experience we call life. I love me some Nicole. If I were to design a collection again she would be one of my muses. She's French, by way of Paris and Montreal. Her mom was a couturier seamstress, she's a sewing student (she even took my 'Learn to Sew in 30 Days' course), she has GREAT fashion sense, lives very minimal, and is all about great energy, healing/being, and has one of those "OMG. Did you just say that???" sense of humor. 😂 She's a breath of fresh air in my life. On this day she was feeling so fresh, so clean, she left her shades on to serve up some summertime realness. 😎We had such a good time out running errands. My goodness. Our "perfect button" adventure was soooo NUTS. 😐😂😐😂😐... so... I say salute this week to all the "good peoples" around me, around you, around us. This here life requires it. 🙋 #friends#goodjudy#energy#positivity#chicago#careers#fashion#eyewear#plaid#jewelry#french#montreal#canada#muse

We've all wasted time. In my youth I've watched too much TV. I've chosen to play computer games when I should have been studying and I've wasted time and energy stewing over things that deserved zero seconds of my time Sometimes it's made little difference and at other times it's come back to bite me. Looking back, if I would love to reclaim some of that time if I could.
Nonsense is everywhere from things like killings over minor arguments, racism extremism and pointless wars, to the infinite distractions of modern day life.
I am reminded of a friend of the family who was rejected by her family because she chose to marry someone her father disapproved of. Her father hadn't spoken to her for about 30 years On his deathbed, he called for her and apologised. Just imagine the trauma both sides of the family must have felt because of the fathers views. What a waste!
Life is precious. Don't waste it on nonsense activities or nonsense beliefs and dogma. Don't waste time on nonsense debates or gossip. Use your time to make your life one of achievement.

Life is drama. As Shakespeare said "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players". There is no drama without people. It follows therefore, that the more people there are in your life, the more drama you will experience. So an obvious way to reduce drama is to reduce the number of people you interact with.
It can difficult because the biggest source of drama is usually family. You can't dump your family - or maybe you can - but you can certainly limit your exposure to the ones who give you most grief. It takes a bit of courage and self confidence to refuse to participate in family drama but it's worth it. You have to say no when you feel you need to.
The other way to reduce drama is to keep the number of close friends to a minimum.
The peace of mind that comes after a drama purge is well worth it.

You worry about climate change. So use your career to fix it! We will describe roles that play a key part in developing solutions to climate change. If you have more ideas, add them in the comments!
ENGINEER. The cost of solar energy has decreased dramatically ; so much that it is now cheaper than coal in many places . This is huge. It allowed the US and the UK to largely replace coal with natural gas and renewables . This massive technological improvement is only possible due to the hard work of engineers. We have lots of difficult problems left to solve: building even more efficient solar, wind, and nuclear , making Carbon Capture cheaper , making sustainable batteries , and many many more problems. For example job descriptions, check out references [8,9,10].
SCIENTIST. Biologists, Chemists, Physicists, Geologists (study rocks), Climate Scientists, Computer Scientists, and everything in between – we need more of them working to help develop a sustainable world. There is an endless list of possible projects, from developing crops that can cope with drought , to working out where we can store captured CO2 . Scientists work with engineers, and also come up with new approaches to the problems that engineers attempt to solve.
BUSINESS DIRECTOR. Scientists and engineers invent and build things within a company or university. But someone needs to lead that company or university. Directors need to build a great team, keep the team motivated, organise funding, be good at selling the idea, etc. This requires a business mindset like any other company's leader must have. The difference: you work on projects that end up helping the world.
POLITICIAN. Democracy makes it hard for very effective climate policy to be achieved (as we covered a while ago in another post). Still, as a politician you can contribute greatly by directing government funds in the right directions and voting for strict regulation on companies. Moreover, you can be a face and voice in politics that supports climate change.
Aim high, work hard, smile, and go change the world! Share @climate_science with your friends! 😊
