This is the first time my work has been published in a book.
Today the light was better, so I am better able to share pictures of the book I illustrated a chapter for.
The book is: Old Oswestry Hillfort and Its Landscape (Edited by Tim Malim and George Nash, Archaeopress), and the Chapter by Caroline Malim: A Giant, A Grail and A Whole New Story.
The book is fantastic for those of you who are local, or who have an academic interest in the archaeology of the Iron Age and its hillforts.
For those of you interested in mythology, this chapter is available to download online on Cambridge Academia under Caroline Malim.
It is over two and a half years ago that Caroline first approached me to start what will eventually become an epic collaboration, likely taking many more years. It is a dream come true project for me, and I cannot wait to continue the next instalments. This is just one of many chapters, which will all eventually go into our book (likely ready between 2025-2030...?). The focus of the book will be on the historical, and archaeological basis for many of Britain’s site specific myths. These stories often contain fascinating kernels of truth and elements which can reach as far back as the Neolithic. Oral traditions can pass on information over millennia, and it is spine tingling when evidence from the sites back them up.
I look forward to sharing the rest of this exciting collaboration in the coming months and years.
Here is the little necklace I was working on in my last video. These Triquetra pendants are available made to order in my etsy shop if anyone would like to purchase and support my business. Always grateful. 🌼

O primeiro disse: “Que ela seja a mais grandiosa dama do mundo”; o segundo disse: “Que ela seja a melhor cantora do mundo”; e o terceiro disse: “Que ela seja a melhor alfaiate** do mundo”.

With highs such as winning home and away to the likes of Lazio, and the lows of losing 4-3 to home at Cluj, which moment/game has been your favourite this season and why? 🤔🟢

Why does it take so much for us to be still with ourselves? To slow down and enjoy the beauty and love all around us, the love that is us. To take time to see the faces of the ones we care about, looking deeply in their eyes, listening intently. Us all in sync with the conscious source that connects us together. To many it's not okay to be still, to relax with oneself. Fear or feelings unexplained, it can feel just weird, almost alien to be alone with body and mind. It is often easier to distract stillness and ignore our soul's intuitive guidance. And so, advice is drawn from other external sources and heart centred decisions are lost - and then we welcome in built up sadness, anger and guilt. Later down the line we crave support, we crave healing after years of forgetting ourselves. A great way to start understanding again sits within the heart. The beauty and openness of your beating heart. The heart opens us up to loving awareness and compassion, for ourselves and those around us. A healing heart eminates joy, pure beauty, radiance and peacefulness with oneself.
Yet how often can we say we sit listen to our heart? Hand on heart, body as still, heart moving in tune with its natural steady rhythm... The mind can only try to compete - I am better than you heart, more powerful than you, I can think (cackling like a Macbethian witch!). Maybe the ego will tell you it's not worth trying, it's better than that. Why listen to a boring beat? There's plenty Netflix to watch, to dos to tick off, plenty ways to numb out tonight. But what if some heart awareness was all you really needed to just connect with what you forgot today? What you lost control of today, what annoyed you, what triggered you? What if your heart can remind you/reset you to your stillness, non-reactiveness, unwaivering acceptance to the world and its being?
Find a quiet room. Maybe even the room as you lie in bed tonight. Pop your hand on your chest and check in. Be gentle, and be kind to yourself. Have a listen. Even have a laugh. Have a rest. Have an inward smile at yourself :) How glorious it is to have a beating heart. How worthy you are of everything and more...

The Middle Age Norsemen used two basic types of axes as weapons, the hand axe and the long axe. When going off to war most Vikings of the early Middle Ages could not afford a weapon made specifically for battle, like a sword. They would often grab the same axe they used for woodcutting to serve as their weapon.

I am really looking forward to this Full Buck Moon coming up. It is the time of harvest. In my home country, this moon is often called Hay Moon because this is the time of year when hay is cut and rolled. but I like Buck Moon better. 😉 Especially since a young buck has been visiting our yard for the last couple of weeks. 🦌
It is the perfect time for a ritual of gratitude.
What are your plans for this Full Moon, Witchies?! 🖤🖤🖤

Man... that was maybe the hardest, most life changing thing I have ever done or ever will do. I labored with him for almost 48 hours... and dealt with some dilation complication along the way.. no epidural, lots of position changes... and a gnarly tear that needed stitching.. finally baby boy is here and ready for the world!!!
