My first time in #NewYorkCity was for this bombshell. It’s not everyday that you meet a self-motivated go-getter who took back her health and loss 100lbs in less than a year on the eve of her 30th birthday!
@mshyppolite took Central Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, and Grand Central Station by storm! Lord knows I fell head over heels in love with this city and can’t wait for another go at in two weeks when I’m back there.
Cassandra, you are such a beacon of inspiration! It’s an honor to have met you, hang with you, and document such incredible milestones in your life. Thank you for trusting me such an opportunity. Sending you a tight hug with so much love beautiful! 💕
Central Park adventures 🌼🌳✨ So pretty! My favourite part was seeing all the publicly donated park benches with cute memorials and love messages 💛 #centralparkbenches#2019travels

"CENTRAL PARK CAROUSEL" - 1965
Laszlo Tar (1922-2019)
Watercolor - Central Park, New York
Laszlo Tar loved Central Park, and lived nearby, in uptown Manhattan. Besides painting and drawing in the park, he would also take his children along - so they would play, while he worked. More often however, he preferred to create his art alone.
Now imagine it is a summer's day in 1965, and you are standing there, with the artist, before the old Carousel. Children with balloons and adults surround the old ticket booth, eagerly waiting to mount their favorite horse for a magical, musical spin.
