Be sure to come by and meet potter and ceramic artist Gary Huntoon!! He'll be available to talk about and demonstrate his work tomorrow, Saturday, July 11, at the gallery!! Gary's work is so, so beautiful! He's been making pottery for about 40 years - since he took a ceramics class as a pre-med student at UCLA for fun - and fell in love. He creates many different kinds of pieces - both hand built and wheel thrown and works with porcelain as well as stoneware clay. Gary makes functional pottery, beautiful sculptural pieces, and fun quirky pieces!! Gary says that he wants his work to be good not only now, but 10, 100, 1000 years from now; to be timeless and distinct. Come meet him and see his work at the gallery tomorrow!! #artgalleryonpendletonsquare#meetmeonthesquare#ceramics#ceramicartist ##

Painted by Danielle ❤️
Join us in the studio tomorrow from 10:00-20:00
Please reserve a spot in advance in order for us to accommodate everyone while maintaining the guidelines 🙏
I’m looking forward to our first proper meal out. I’ve kept a list of restaurants I’ve wanted to try and want to be able to plan a special night out. Do you have a fav place to eat or a new place you’ve wanted to try? Could be a restaurant, pop up, food experience or anywhere you’re looking forward to eating at. Restaurants have had it hard. Let’s give them some ❤️
It is with a heart filled with gratitude that I say thank you to each and everyone, far and wide, who found a keepsake in my webshop on Wednesday. I look so forward to see where on the planet I am sending your new treasures to.
Thank you! From the bottom of my heart🤍

We have always been inspired by the beauty of our surroundings. From its various textures and tones, to the many unique and special elements.
You can check the whole collection:
Empty table. No more greenware. No more bisqueware to glaze. Shelves full of items soon going to a new home.
Time to get back into the flow of throwing, turning, firing, glazing, firing, selling, packing, cleaning, etc.
Thank you so much to everyone who browsed and bought from our shop yesterday evening, the response was quite incredible.
I got a fair number of polite but frustrated messages yesterday about not being able to buy what they’d like or about the way the website works.
Our main issue is simply numbers. If we work hard, Emily and I can produce around 500-600 pieces for a shop opening. 500 pieces usually equates to around 150 orders. Yesterday around 5,000 people visited the website, mostly in the few minutes after the opening. So you can see the issue. I get really worried about disappointing people, but however clever we tried to be with the openings the numbers issue would remain.
This is also why we can’t take on commissions at the moment. I know a lot of people would like dinner or coffee sets but if we were to take time out to make these then we would have less pottery for the openings.
One issue that pops up again and again is that when shopping on the website you can put items in your cart and then someone else can buy it. This is incredibly frustrating. We don’t have control over this part of the system and we think the reason the website is built like this is so that people can’t put tonnes of items into their carts and then remove them in their own time while they look sold out to everyone else.
I hope that explains why we work the way we do. We want to stay as a two person team. It’s a lovely way to work and live, so I can’t see our output increasing much over time.
And, genuinely, if anyone has any ideas about how to make the shop experience more enjoyable then please just drop a comment below.
We are still, every single opening, a bit overwhelmed and so grateful for the support of our work. So, just thank you all. Jono and Emily x
