Check out this movie room design for someone special, who loves history and has bit flare for moody rooms. So keeping in mind with their interest, I chose a 12th century, gothic inspired damask wallpaper to create a moody and dramatic look. As the majority of the budget went into setting up the movie digital setup, I suggested a 3 way panel door for this huge doorway opening and it really turned out good!

Dipped Tip :: The great thing about selecting a square frame to do a gallery wall is that you can rotate the mat inside so that you can showcase your photos either horizontally or vertically...just make sure you use some sort of pattern if you choose to flip flop! 🖤

For this one I wanted to do something monochromatic and fun, and I think it’s obvious which is my all time favorite monochromatic painting! One of the best days of my life was standing in the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid seeing Picasso’s ‘Guernica’ in person.
Create a focal point by adding something ultra chic and moody, but something that also flows with rest of the house. Here it's achieved by some black paint, accessories with some vintage console, a gilt mirror or an abstract art with some hint of green!
Sometimes I go in over my head when staring a new piece. MOST of the time, I do not regret it 😉. I initially intended this work to include the sculpture alone with minimal background accents. However, my curiosity led me in a different direction. The background will now be fully filled in with a marble wall, pillars and ornamental gold detail. This piece is turning into a labor of love, and I am enjoying every minute I have had to work on it!
Working with color and texture is my true passion. I love creating spaces that are sophisticated, eclectic and timeless. So often people think they need to “play it safe” with their interiors but I always say you only live once so buy and live with what you LOVE ❤️.

In this home, I brought in traditional elements with a contemporary twist to create this gorgeous dining room. Hand picked art pieces like this abstract watercolor landscape, hand forged iron bust, and even the wall sconces (which are such fantastic sculptural pieces) make this room an in-home gallery of sorts. Plenty of conversation starters around the dinner table. What meal would you serve in this room?
Welp. Thanks to COVID-19 aka Corona-virus aka Rona aka Rona Mae Jenkins (coined by @nvknows), my trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is postponed til 2021. Since the majority of us are staying safe in our homes, I was inspired bring the dream destination to us by way of home decor.
Check out my latest blog post #linkinbio to see how you can add Mexican flare into your home. Let's make our home a staycation destination!
Another furniture transformation! These pretty vintage French provincial end tables were scratched up and outdated. Now, they are the prettiest blue/grey! I’m having a hard time letting go of these. ❤️ Priced at $390 for the pair. As soon as the rain stops, they will go into @gigisconsignmentboutique for purchase. 💚 Zibba

I started working on my Summer collection this weekend. This small oil pastel was inspired by Monet’s garden in Giverny, France. The smaller works in the collection will not lack detail! ✨
I look forward to sharing more details about the collection with you in the coming weeks!
Quick kitchen update. We love this transformation! Swipe for the before pics ⏩

Dear friends, Transformation Tuesday. Swipe through pic to see what this fun end table looked like at the beginning. I decided to give this traditional table a more updated look. Did you notice the fun little gold claw feet? It has a good sized drawer and could be used in lots of places. A bedside table in a small space, end table in a living room, a screened in porch or sunroom, a cute accent table in a bathroom or in a girls room. So many uses! Priced at $165, it is located @gigisconsignmentboutique 💚 Zibba
This bathroom has a minimalist vibe which is perfect for creating the fresh and clean feel that we all know and love for bathrooms. By bringing in polished nickel features and pairing that with accent greenery, this space becomes a peaceful and quiet retreat. Nowadays, we all need a little slice of heaven in our homes.
Happy Saturday friends! I put this pretty piece in GiGi’s yesterday. I love the wood top with the painted bottom and the feet. The paint really updates the piece and the neutral beige can go warm or cool depending on where you put it. It’s a vintage Thomasville cabinet and the door hinges open and can be used to store shoes, board games, rolled up blankets or towels. So many options! Priced at $230 and located @gigisconsignmentboutique If you haven’t been there yet, I highly suggest you go. Belmont is a great little downtown shopping and eating spot and you can easily do all of that and be safe and socially distant. DM me for any questions or recommendations on places to eat and shop while you are there! 💚 Zibba
When I think about why I like what I do, here is an example. This arrangement was for the Southern Home Magazine @southernhomemag photo shoot of the incredible home of interior designer @tracizeller . I got to use my some of my favorite flowers from @mayeshcharlotte .The amazing Sterling silver punch bowl container was provided by @replacementsltd and the photo by the uber-talented Dustin Peck @_dpphoto_ . A lot of teamwork went into creating this dreamy day so thank you to my fabulous assistants on the shoot: Anna Rose Ramsey @aroseramsey_ , Mandy Stallings @mandy1sc and Kristen Brown @vintagesoulfloraldesign
This photo didn't make it into the magazine but it is one of my favorites because it makes me remember how kind everyone was and how lucky I am to do what I love.
50 shades of blue!! I had so much fun creating this stylish space that balanced masculine & feminine. The navy sofa was the focal piece of this space and really grounded it! I fell in love with the dark aesthetic of this sexy and stylish sitting room!! • •
Designing a home is often about balancing the interests of a couple or the lives of family members with the space. In this case, the couple moved from California, bought this Midcentury post and beam in Charlotte as their CA transplant dream house. The husband publishes a motorcycle magazine and the wife is an interior designer. He is a minimalist. She prefers to dabble in all the -isms. He would say she’s a maximalist. ••••••••••••••••••••
I’m grateful for all this time at home, as I finally stopped procrastinating replanting the built-in planter in our entry. I’m sure to obsess about it and move things around, but Dean finally has his bike in the house.
