"3 cooked over the hot lump BGE charcoal flames, 3 cooked on the other side of the large biggreenegg on a cast-iron plancha. One side of each was seasoned with #psseasoning The Back Yard. We are still arguing over which was better, flame or cast iron."
Directions: Mix all ingredients together, making sure everything is well combined. Divide equally with you hand, based on how many burgers you need. Generally, a pound of meat yields 4 regular hamburgers, or 6 sliders.

Of course, we decided to celebrate with burgers, but we went an additional dab of extra by creating two burger experiences: “classic” and indulgent .
The key to a great burger is starting with a well-seasoned patty. For the indulgent burger, we added caramelized shallots and fried garlic to the patty, along with @traderjoes Umami Seasoning, plenty of coarse salt, chili, and a bit of @worldmarket Truffle, Black Garlic & Parmesan seasoning. (We didn’t call it indulgent for nothing, amiright?) .
For our more traditional patty, we still didn’t skimp on flavor, but kept the dry seasonings more straightforward: onion, garlic, chili, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
For toppings on the “indulgent” burger, we caramelized more onion and shallot in butter, and used the remainder of the fried garlic chips. We also added some stilton blue cheese 🧀 , and arugula .
Our classic burger was topped with a huge slice of tomato, raw vidalia onion, extra sharp white cheddar, and arugula .

Posted the DC themed burger yesterday, here is my attempt at a Louisiana themed burger today + I made homemade chow-chow , which is a spicy relish made out of onions and spicy peppers that is found in South Louisiana + I also made a homemade Louisiana style remoulade sauce, that is a spicier adaptation to the traditional French sauce + Then I topped the burger with a Vidalia onion slice, which are a common onion variety grown in Louisiana + Came out really well, not even sure the recipe needed a lot more adjustment! .

Loaded chickpea and red cabbage cheeseburgers with all the trimmings 🤤🍔🍔
Oh my goodness, these were just pure indulgent deliciousness and I enjoyed every bite 🙌🏼🤤
For the 4 burger patties (they are #vegan ) I used:
- 1 can chickpeas (boiled until soft)
- 1/2 white onion.
- 50g red cabbage, finely chopped.
- 2 garlic cloves.
- 2 tsp smoked paprika.
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar.
- 2 tbsp maple syrup.
- 1 tsp hot chilli powder.
- 1 tsp garlic granules.
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds.
- 1 tsp cracked black pepper.
- 1 tsp salt.
We served our burgers in our usual homemade buns and with all the veggies, cheese and sauces we could find! I lathered mine in @enconaofficial hot sauce and @nandosuk perinaise 😍🤤
drumroll please... one of my fave local restaurants has a new to-go menu and it's straight fire 🔥 this gluten free fried fried chicken is the best i've ever had. big statement, i know. think crispy and crunchy, but not greasy, full of flavor with a sweet and spicy thai caramel sauce, and every bite as good as the last.

Wow. I just had to share this dinner recipe that I made 2 nights in a row because it was THAT GOOD! If you love cheeseburgers, but are looking for a new, lighter way to eat them, you definitely are going to want to try this healthy recipe ASAP.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️1 large soft tortilla⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️3 ounces of lean ground beef [90%+]⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️2 slices of tomato⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️1/4 yellow onion, chopped⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️1 romaine lettuce leaf, washed⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️2 slices of American cheese⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️1/2 tsp ketchup⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Cheeseburgers in the sunshine.
Is there a better way to finish the week. I made my own burger buns this week and I won’t be going back.
I served them with herbed sweet potato and Maris Piper fries.

Homemade burger bun recipe.
I’d never thought about making them and to be honest if it wasn’t for lockdown and the faff of queuing I probably won’t have.
I scoured the internet and there’s lots of different ones involving eggs and milk. For mine I simply upped the oil content to my usual bread mixture, which created a lovely light texture.
This recipe makes 6 burger buns
400g bread flour
1 tbsp honey
Pinch of rock salt
325ml warm water (I add the oil and honey and then fill with water to 350ml.
Add bread flour and yeast to a large bowl, mix and make a well in the middle.
In a measuring jug add the oil, honey and salt. Then fill to 350ml with warm water and mix.
Add the liquid a third at a time and stir into the flour with a spoon.
Add water until the flour is all in the mix, it might look a raggedy. You don’t want to add too much liquid.
Then turn out onto a floured surface and kneed.
When it’s elastic and springs a back it’s done. Place in an oiled bowl and cover.
Leave to rise for a couple of hours or more until it’s doubled in size.
Once risen knock back, then roll into a sausage and split into 6.
On a large baking tray put a piece of parchment and scatter with cornmeal.
Then shape the buns:
Roll into a ball and then flat to nearly the size of your burgers, remember they’ll nearly double in size again.
Space on the tray, cover and leave for second rise, about 30 minutes.
Egg wash and then bake for 12 minutes at 180c until golden.
🥬 🧀 Kapustovo sýrové karbanátky. Vyzkoušejte recept podle @svatavacoolinarka, který jsem trochu upravila. Překvapilo mě, jak je kapusta drahá a jídlo náročnější na přípravu 🤑 Ale prostě jsem na to měla chuť a stálo to za to 😋 Co děláte z kapusty nejraději Vy?
▪️kapusta 1/2 ks
▪️rohlíky 2 ks (já dala 2 rýžové chlebíčky)😉
▪️mléko cca 100 ml
▪️vejce 2 ks
▪️sýr 150 g
▪️menší cibule 2 ks
▪️česnek 2 stroužky
▪️oregáno 1 lžíce
▪️olej na smažení
1️⃣ Kapustu zbavíme vrchních listů a tuhého košťálu, nakrájíme ji na větší kusy a dáme ji vařit pod pokličkou do osolené vody. Až kapusta změkne, slijeme vodu a nechte kapustu vychladnout.
2️⃣ Mezitím nasekáme najemno cibuli, na plátky dva stroužky česneku. Sýr nastrouhejte nahrubo.V pánvičce orestujeme cibuli a česnek.
3️⃣ Vychladlou kapustu nakrájíme na kousky. (Doporučuji trochu rozmixovat.) Přendáme ji do velké mísy, k ní pak přidáme rozdrobené rýžové chlebíčky a zalijeme je trochou mléka, vše zamícháme.
4️⃣ Přidáme dvě vejce, orestovanou cibuli s česnekem, sýr, sušené oregano, pepř a případně ještě trochu soli.
5️⃣ Do směsi nakonec přidáme strouhanku v množství takovém, aby se daly vytvarovat karbanátky (cca 2–3 lžíce), které před smažením ještě obalíme ve strouhance.

I don’t know about you but I’ve been craving greasy fast food. My husband brought home Sonic the other day and I reeeeally wanted their onion rings, but I obviously can’t because of the gluten. So I thought of a way to make them GF! If you’re interested, recipe is below 👇🏻
I’m so bad at not having/making the recipes specific, I just wing it! Lol
Cut 1-2 large onions into rings- not too thick but not too thin.
For the drudging:
Crack 3 eggs in a bowl with 1/4 tsp of salt & pepper each
Whisk & set aside.
1/2 C GF breadcrumbs
1/4 C GF Panko crumbs
1 TBS parsley
1/4 tsp and S&P each
Mix together & set aside.
1 C of GF flour- I used Casava flour.
Heat oil in a pan for frying, I used a cast iron skillet and filled the oil to about 1/4 - 1/3 of the way up. Heat at medium.
Dip the onion ring in the egg, then GF flour, then egg again, then dip in the breadcrumb mixture and place in the oil. These will cook pretty fast so flip when the bottom starts to brown. Repeat this process until they are all done.
Place the finished onion rings on a paper towel and sprinkle with salt while they are still hot. You can top with fresh parsley if you want to.
Serve with siracha mayo or chipotle mayo 👍🏻
