🍁 Meet Maple. She’s (about) 16 weeks old. She came into CEBR’s care 72 hours ago. She has intussusception, which means that the intestine is folding into itself. Likely from bad diarrhea or parasites. She was rescued and taken into surgery right away.
As we waited for tests, layers of dried feces were peeled off of her paws, skin and the inside of her ears. It’s clear that she’s been laying in her own feces for days, if not weeks.
Maple made it through surgery just fine! They ended up suturing her rectum so it will stay in place. It is assumed that she developed this issue as a result of untreated parasites.
Maple is going to her foster home today!! She will be resting and recuperating from her surgery.
Sunday evening- #maplesmooner looks so much better! Lots of meds and lots of TLC for this peanut!
Maple let’s us know when she has to poop either by standing by the door or sniffing.
***Maple is (thankfully) doing well***
It takes a village!!! PLEASE, if you want to donate to Maple’s care, visit ebullymatch.com to donate. Or click the link in our bio. EVERY DOLLAR HELPS 🐾

Ready to adopt Boo is hoping and praying that her forever home is out there somewhere 💗
Boo was turned over to CEBR this summer as an owner surrender from Iowa. She was locked up her whole life and used for breeding. We took her in and quickly realized she has a form of pulmonic stenosis and it’s obstructing blood flow. The right side of her heart is dilated and she has atrial tachycardia. She was put on two meds, one for her abnormal heart rate and one as a diuretic. She will need to remain on these meds for the rest of her life because the meds are working and they are controlling her arrhythmia.
Besides needing another echo in 6 months, Boo is ready to adopt!! She is 3 years old and loves attention, belly rubs and her toys. She gets along well with other dogs and children. She needs to be in a home with minimal stairs. Could you be her forever family???
