We're all about white truffles for Thanksgiving — that's why Truffle Day falls on Wednesday, November 27! Skip the dish to pass and bring the thing everyone really wants. | 📷 @urbanitruffles
EAT, SHOP & LEARN: Our annual Truffle Days are back for the holidays (November 27 and December 22), the only days you can shop fresh, Italian white truffles at the lowest prices of the season. Fun fact: our past Truffle Day prices have fallen right around the same price as at the Alba markets in Italy (the home of Italian white truffles!). Starting at 8 a.m., stop by to pick out your very own fresh truffle to shave on anything and everything for your Thanksgiving dinner. We'll have an expert here from @urbanitruffles to help you along the way. #myEatalyChicago#WhiteTruffleFestival

New Shit: Though the faces behind Foster avenues newest taqueria will be familiar to many. Taqueria Las Flores is the third spot from the family behind Taqueria El Asadero and Taqueria 5 de Mayo both on Montrose. Their newest location is just east of Kimball and they don’t seem to be messing with success. The carne asada is front and center and served in a variety of ways. The only things different on the menu that I noticed were nachos, and a bistec o pollo con rajas. Like it’s siblings this has the feel of one of the Northsides best taquerias. Same top notch steak tacos as well as the city’s best rice and beans. Served with fresh chips and salsa for those dining in at all three family owned locations. #ChiTacoTour
Went to my first Michelin Star Resturant yesterday and I got to say Band of Bohemia does not disappoint. I was a little nervous about this "rite of passage", but amazing service and an unforgettable atmosphere that houses some delisious food quickly calmed my nerves. Definitely stop by if you are in the Northern Part of town!
