On my travels in the Middle East, one of the biggest surprises for me was Beirut. I instantly fell in love with city, and with Lebanon.
Before going I didn't really know what to expect; I remembered news stories of war from when I was a kid and I'd seen pictures online of a vibrant city with a great nightlife.
Beirut is all of these things and more - bullet holes in walls and murals around the city serve as reminders of unsettled times, the people are friendly and fun, they love their city and their country.
Outside the city there's so much history to be found so be sure to go exploring.
The food if amazing and yes, the nightlife is fantastic.
these boots though 🤤
I didn’t get the chance to do my questionnaire yesterday I was too busy in work (13hr shift🥵) so I will do it tomorrow, you can send in any look requests and I will try get back to everyone💙

When #autumn feels more like summer. The weather has been amazing this past week, with temperatures above 20 Celsius. I’m making sure to take advantage of this glorious weather, and spend as much of it outdoors #kyiv
I have a box filled with bus tickets, train tickets, plane tickets, museum tickets, business cards from restaurants I've eaten at, those notepads they give you in hotels, sachets of sugar, soap and pillow chocolates. Stupid stuff I can't bear to throw away. Things I look at while I'm saving for my next trip and feeling down in the dumps.
Home after a week of exploring Budapest! Walked over 90’000 steps, survived a bike tour,
discovered chimney cake filled with ice cream and a newfound love for fruit beer 🍒
Now off for a long bath and back to reality to unpack and clean up a messy flat! #budapest#citybreak
I’m a huge foodie. I’m also obsessed with discovering new places to eat; I put a lot of effort into seeking out ‘good grub’.
As soon as I found out about @italian_from_beirut , I knew I had to go.
Lebanese food is my weakness. Tabbouleh is my ‘go-to’ salad. I love generous portions, so I’m quite content with ordering a ridiculous about of Mezze. I often opt out of ordering a main course, and happily stuff my face with hummus, baba ganoush, fattoush, falafel, kibbeh ... and the list goes on.
Mezze is a fascinating concept: you get your perfect taster plate; you don’t have to compromise and can try everything. It also makes the dining experience very intimate, as you are sharing your meal with those at your dinner table. And we were all taught that ‘sharing is caring ‘.
What’s your favorite Lebanese dish?
