📌 Stage Hypnosis merupakan hypnosis yang digunakan untuk pertunjukan hiburan. Dalam stage hypnosis, hipnotis memilih subjek dari antara penonton, yang telah melewati serangkaian uji sugestibilitas, membuat subjek tersebut masuk kedalam kondisi trance. Kemudian hipnotis memberikan “program” yang akan dijalankan setelah subjek bangun atau sadar dari kondisi trance. Program yang dimasukkan biasanya “aneh-aneh” dan tidak masuk akal, misalnya handphone jadi sepatu dan sebagainya. Semua program itu dijalankan dengan sangat baik dan subjek tidak sadar akan keanehan perilakunya.
📌 Meskipun program yang dimasukkan ke pikiran bawah sadar adalah program yang “tidak masuk akal”, hal itu tidak akan berakibat buruk pada subjek. Traveling used to give me anxiety ✈️ 🙄
One of my favorite things to do is travel. When I think back on some of my travels to some pretty amazing places, I think about the anxiety I would have being surrounded by so much amazing food and away from my gym routine.
I always thought that in order to reach my fitness goals I had to be “perfect”.
I thought if I did not workout 5 days a week I was failing.
I thought that if I ate any food like pizza or pasta I was failing.
I had built my thoughts of success around what others said worked for them, instead of building my success around what would work for ME!
I spent years feeling trapped in a cycle of trying to be “perfect” and beating myself up when I was in a situation that I could not control.
What would happen when I was on those vacations out of my routine? I knew being “perfect” was not an option so I would do the complete opposite… I would eat EVERYTHING. I would eat until I felt sick…. And then all the guilt would overflow my brain…..
I would think I was a failure…..
I would say “ well I’m on vacation….. I will get back to being “perfect” on Monday”...
I don’t know about you... but living a life where I feel guilty for enjoying pizza and pasta is not a life I want to live.
Everything changes when you stop following what works for others and start following what works for you...🤍
And that can go for anything in life whether it’s your fitness/health goals, career goals, etc.
You don’t have to be perfect to succeed.
Just find what works for YOU and stay CONSISTENT. ✨✨

Your journey is different than mine.
And mine is different than yours. ✨
Even if we’re chasing the same thing, my way to get there may look different than your way.
Does it mean one way is right or wrong or better or worse?
No, just different.
What about us being in different places in our lives?
Maybe you’re starting out running for the first time, maybe yesterday was your day 1 - but see others doing more or on their day 1,000.
Should you feel any less about where you are?
No. Because remember, those you see - who maybe show numbers/paces/race distances that feel impossible to you now - also once started exactly where you are. They too had a day 1.
And remember - it doesn’t necessarily mean what they may be doing now is what it will take for you to achieve goal x, y or z.
Lastly, remember we all have seasons of life. Some of those seasons require more, some less.
That can be in numbers, intensity, consistency, etc. Whatever season you’re in now is happening because that’s where your life has taken you, it’s what you or maybe your family needs. What you see is others in their seasons. Maybe they’re similar to yours and maybe they’re not.
But should that mean you need to feel less joy towards your season and all the victories/triumphs/recharging/good that come with it?
No. Because remember, we’re all different. Our minds, hearts, bodies and wants are different. So with all of that said, strip yourself from the obsession of needing to do or chase what’s perceived as normal. Instead, put all of that energy into realizing that your place in your journey, your path to achieve your goals, and your season is amazing. And make it joyful.
We all want to create lasting healthy habits.

The way you speak about others is a reflection of your own thoughts about yourself. Sometimes one of the hardest things to do is accept that your own insecurities fall onto the way you perceive others.
There’s a reason why there’s a saying that someone will only try to bring you down if they’re below you. You need to have enough confidence within yourself to just let people be who they are.
When you can find love and compassion for even the people who may rub you the wrong way, you become lighter.
You feel good about yourself when you feel good about others.
Be wise with your words. Your words become your feelings. Your feelings become your actions. Your actions become your character.

Resiliency. There have been some dark days.
When I suffered a miscarriage years ago, alone, while living on a boat, the dingy at the dock trapping me on the water, it was one of the darkest moments of my life. I’ve always wanted to be a mother and was devastated. And alone.
A month later, my fiancé at the time decided he didn’t want marriage or children and called off our wedding a few weeks before the date. I wasn’t surprised. He would smoke cigarettes on the boat and blow it in my face telling me he wanted me to get an abortion and would leave if the baby was born. I clearly did not have the self love to value myself enough to leave that relationship. I settled and stayed, out of fear and insecurity. I was miserable but couldn’t leave. I didn’t trust the signs or trust my own self worth.
He never actually had the courage to call off our wedding to my face. I found out through my mother. When my mom called his mother to talk about details for after the ceremony (again just a few weeks before) his mother said that his family had not bought tickets as there would be no wedding. I still remember that humiliating and painful experience. My family all had paid for their flights already so they came out to Maui.
Full of hormones from the miscarriage and a broken heart, wounded ego, THAT was a huge turning point in my life.
Resiliency. I moved forward.
One of the main reasons why I have devoted my life to yoga and life coaching specializing in self-love and mindset is because I deeply understand how having a low self-esteem and insecurity and self doubt can cause so much pain and darkness in our lives. I understand that if we don’t trust signs from the Universe, do not listen to our own intuition, if we do not LOVE AND VALUE OURSELVES, then we endure suffering that is not necessary. We do not have to settle, or allow others to mistreat or disrespect us.
