Maisie in her natural habitat: some grass and a ball 🎾
Add some hugs and treatos and that’s all this girl needs ❤️
Can we say “we’re back”? Have we been inactive long enough to say that?
My last post was 2 saturdays ago and that was a very quick snap&post... TBH ever since Léa came to us, our life has been quite hectic. There was weekly visits to the vet (Léa is doing great now but Maisie will need surgery to remove her warts after her ear infections have passed), there was spending hours in the car to get special food for Léa, there was spending extra time to prepare 3 meals a day for her.
Combine that with working shifts, increased pressure at work, preparing a move to a new home while selling another one.
I quickly became burnt out.
I have been running on autopilot the last few weeks but I realize I need to turn that off and take matters in my own hands again.
Going back to our regularly scheduled programming is step one of many.
So, I guess we can say “we’re back”?
Yeah... We’re back 😎
👉🏻 “Although they look similar, English and American cocker spaniels are recognized by the American Kennel Club as two separate breeds. In the 19th century, American and English breeders began to focus on different traits. American cocker spaniels tend to be smaller, with rounder heads; English cockers have less distinct eyebrows and longer snouts. Eventually, the two dogs were different enough to warrant a separation of the breed in 1945.“ - Rebecca OConnell
