I find myself thinking about this place pretty often. There’s so much yet to see in the U.S. alone and I’m having a blast capturing things in different ways. I’m not a fan of this composition whatsoever, I was late to find a spot and the sun was going down quick, but the takeaway is that I actually thought this sequence was completely unusable several months ago when I took it - turns out I just didn’t know enough about alternate post processing methods. I get nerdy about this stuff, but it’s really rewarding to work past initial blocks by educating yourself more about technique. There’s quite literally always more to learn and I love that.
For as long as I can remember with Kellon, I’ve been dying to go with him to Moab. It’s honestly one of my favorite places, and I really wanted to experience it with him. We finally got to go together a few weeks ago, and it was the best. The arches are so cool, the view is amazing, and all of the different colors of rock are fascinating to look at. So thankful we are travel buddies forever.
He is ALWAYS GOOD. 🌱 .
good days + bad days happen to everyone. i personally find it so easy to praise in the good and plead in the bad. but i have been trying to praise Him always regardless of the circumstance – even on the bad days and He is GOOD.

I miss this town. I can’t remember the name of it so I’ll just call it Hallmark Christmastown, Colorado.
Earlier today I took a hike at Red Rock Canyon, near Las Vegas. Heading back I looked up and saw this incredible cloud moving quickly past one of the mountain peaks. The sun refracted this incredible kaleidoscope of colors and it was an amazing site to see. Note that this phenomenon is not *exactly* as it appeared to the naked eye as I dialed back the exposure nearly 1.5 stops to silhouette the mountain and get the colors in the cloud to pop out a bit more.
