Skydive Colorado, 2018; These images were taken last year while in an airplane with a good buddy of mine who would gladly take me in his private plane to photograph his company and surrounding area. While I limited this post to 3 images I I have so many aerial photos thanks to him and his generosity and enthusiasm to get me into that plane with him multiple times. Over the course of your life you need to realIze how impactful the people in your life are and what they bring to you. This is just one of many examples of good people in my life. The big difference between him and everyone else is he let me in his plane whenever I’d want and flew me all over the place. Also he pranks me and scares the hell out of me in that thing but that’s for a different post. Thanks again bud. Best of luck in your next adventure. #beautifulcolorado#adventure#travel#travelphotography#travelgram#skydiveamazing#skydiver#explore#coloradoadventures#colorado_creative#rockymountains#landscape#aerialphotography#aerial#skyporn

turns out these colorado mountains are a little nippy
It’s been a happy day. I was able to make it to town today and got all my necessary errands done that were a long time coming. This lifestyle brings an intense appreciation for the simplest of things. Being able to go to a laundromat today and coming out with a pile of hot, clean laundry to take back to the trailer made me incredibly happy. Restocking food and water so I can look forward to my coffee and Sunday breakfast and have plenty of food for this week’s meals; picking up my mail & packages at the post office; refilling a spare propane tank for peace of mind during this cold spell; and buying a dreamy new sherpa blanket that I’m wrapped up in at the moment.
And when the freshwater tanks run out, and I change to using bottled water or melted snow water, I even enjoy the ritual of heating water on the stove, and the quiet industriousness of washing the body with sponge baths in the kitchen. Very soon I’ll have my car, and someday I’ll live in a house again, but for now, this life is perfect for me. I appreciate every resource, every belonging, and every opportunity to the absolute maximum, and it’s been a beautiful way to exist. #RVlife

New gym gotta take a new gym selfie!!
But I have also set up a small bucket list of things I'm looking to accomplish.
1) run more 5k and do my first half marathon 2) I want to hike the Manitou Incline more this summer 3) I want to hike at least two 14ers this year, but will be very happy if I can do just one.
Overall I'm looking to be more active this year, especially since I'm making Colorado home. I signed up for my first Spartan Race and am looking to do Tough Mudder this year as well. I also want to bungee jump, skydive attempt to try paddle boarding but standing and just vacation more, I'm also doing some volunteer work at the Denver Zoo. Obviously I will be glad to have others join me on my adventures but am learning to do things on my own. I'm very excited to see what this year brings. • #gayfit#gymmotivation#fitnessmotivation#coloradoadventures#colorado#gayman#instagay#instafit#fitnessgoals#gayscruff#gaybeard#beardedgay#scruffygay#2020fitnessgoals#fitgoals#gymgoals#gayselfie

Happy Saturday!!!! 4 rainbow trouts caught for this mermaid!!!!! Fish fry right NOW!!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
We had so much fun at the @operacolorado family day seeing Hansel and Gretel!! We got to sit on the stage and watch a fun family friendly opera for about an hour. My kids were enthralled the whole time! (They were sitting on the floor up front and I was three rows back, I take thought half way through someone would get bored and come sit with me, but it didn't happen!) This was the first I'd heard of this program, so I'll make sure to share more about it the next time I hear it's happening!
Just because there is snow in the mountains doesn’t mean you can’t still go for a hike and play.

Real life snow globe yesterday in Crested Butte with 10 inches coming down! Split the day from @thearcherproject, while he had a ton of fun snowboarding the mountain, I snowshoed some pretty close to white-out conditions when out of the trees. While not a bluebird day, still so gorgeous here! So psyched the ankle is holding up so well - just about a year ago suffered a pretty aggressive break & dislocation, but it’s been doing so great! ❄️🏔☃️🙌 #crestedbutte#snowshoeing#colorado#coloradoadventures

If you’re gonna read the sign, you have to do it out loud in your best southern accent🤠 That’s exactly what I did when I walked into the store, and because I was on a bit of a caffeine high, I thought my accent was spot on lol. I made a few of the girls laugh but now that I think about it, I may have offended someone so if that’s the case I’m truly sorry😯 The hats in the store were exquisite so I’ll be sure to tell everyone to slide their money under the door on their next trip to Aspen!😁 #foreverawkward
Verb dry shampoo ✔️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ghost oil ✔️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fishing poles ✔️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✌🏼 Denver we’re mountain bound!!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Great products are especially important when you're in harsh weather 🥶 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Dehydrated hair is more prone to breakage, so using Verb's ghost oil will add nutrients to strengthen the hair while bamboo extract and hydrolyzed soy protein locks in that moisture.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now all we need is to enjoy that fresh mountain air and maybe if we're lucky, we'll catch a fish. 🤞🏻
I wish this was a photo from our Crested Butte trip.. But we got in a few days after the storm and had blue bird skies. The terrain at CB is different from anywhere I’ve ever been. At other resorts I’d hit a black diamond or double black no problem. At CB, the blues are steep with moguls. We didn’t even try a black at all. But the tree runs off the greens were great! It was a weird and different world. I wish we could’ve hit it the day after the storm.
So I’m still half n half about CB. As of right now, I’d pick Steamboat all day over CB. For those of y’all who’ve been to both what would you say?! CB or Steamboat? And what’s your ride level?
So here’s a photo of me on the backside of Keystone ripping what I thought was what is known as a black. Now, thanks to CB’s terrain, I feel like I’m a beginner again. 😂🖤 Thank you @sparklesandsnowxo for the snap! 📸
6 years ago today.... I moved to Colorado only 8 days later to meet my now husband! Every time I say that I feel like I need to be pinched, because seriously how did that just happen!?!?!
I was 31 and feeling so single.... I had already gone through my bitter stage where I was upset everyone else was in a relationship but me. That’s not a fun place to be and I let it overcome me for a couple years. Needless to say I was single for a couple years.... after finally getting over that life started to look up again! I was wicked focused on me and how to start molding a future I was happy with! Funny how that happens- outta nowhere he appeared! .
We decided to go sledding in RMNP and it was there we met! Was an empty lot in hidden valley since it was a weekday and it was snowing! We wanted to sled and Trey and his friends were making jumps and playing on their snowboards. We all started playing together when It started dumping. Wicked hard! So hard we all decided it was time to go. Not till we got to our cars where they were parked in front of us did he get my #. But it was there I’ll forever be thankful for! That split moment when everything worked out just right. .
Forever thankful for that day!

The ice is making beautiful shapes and bubbles this year! It does every year but the winds this year have really started to shape the ice quite uniquely 💙🦋
I think this was my favorite moment I’ve experienced so far in Colorado. With the hot springs opening up to the mountains and the smell of campfire flooding the air, I felt so close to the wild. ↟
There was just enough people visiting the springs as the ranch limits guests. I made new connections both with humans and nature, and the experience couldn’t have been more perfect ❄️
