We have a few mates that have been going on and on about this place so decided to stop by to see what all the fuss was about.
Pictured is a kumara hash stack with salsa, bacon, salad & sour cream. It was moist, had heaps of flavour & was simple but bloody good.
We think they do pretty well at living up to their reputation. We definitely left the @hotwavescafe1 full and happy 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 8 on the eat-o-meter 🤤

I had this lookout all to myself, which I was thankful for as I didn’t want any witnesses to my unfitness and heavy breathing from all the stairs. That view though was so worth it though (this will be a recurring theme while I’m here in New Zealand I’m sure) 😆
I’ve been trying to beat #vacationblues by constantly looking through our 10,000 pix and talking about the trip with anyone who wants to know about the trip! 😬 I feel quite fortunate that I was able to go to these countries that are on everyone’s bucket list. But still, wishing I was back in New Zealand 🇳🇿.... 😭

The Wentworth Valley has seen the rush of gold miners looking to make their fortune in the late 1880. You will old gold mines as you walk along the Wentworth Falls track. Just over an hour to the falls with an Altitude of 168 m above sea level.
Unfortunately the track to the bottom of the waterfall was to unsafe to claim down with a baby strapped to you! Maybe next time I’ll get there.

So much Aroha: love was shared at my Nourish Mini Retreat.
One of the nourishing things the girls got to do was get lush, healing massages from Kahikatea Healing.
Massages for me, are one indulgence I give myself.
It’s the only time I really give myself time to STOP and RELAX without felling guilty.
Who else here following struggles to have time out for you and just stop and do NOTHING without feeling guilty about it?
I know I feel Iike I have to fill every moment of my day “doing” to feel like I’m being productive. ⠀⠀
But it is OK to take even just a few minutes, hours or a day just for you.
Remember if your not functioning at your best you will not be functioning at your best for everyone else.

Some days are filled with epic adventures. And others are more mundane, filled with a workout, maybe a dentist or optometrist appointment and more computer screen time than you’d like.
But mundane doesn’t mean they can’t be meaningful. The ebbs & flows of life still add up to be LIFE ✨ Sometimes I lose sight of how the small pieces add up to be the full puzzle — there’s room for both the epic and the everyday.
No matter what kind of day today was for you, even if it felt really shitty like mine did, I think we can find gratitude in the fact that we woke up today, we have breath in our lungs and hopefully, we are one step closer to whatever we’re working on. We need not forget of the days we dreamed of what we have now, even in a moment of not-so-awesomeness 🙏🏼 #sendingyoulove#gratitudealways
