Another clients sparkly clean pores after a Dermaplane, a spot Salicylic Acid Peel on her nose and chin, and then followed by a Hyaluronic Acid Hydration Mask!
Adding a Spot SA Peel not only adds extra exfoliation, but dissolves the build up of sebum in the pores effectively killing the bacteria responsible for blemishes - leaving our skin clear and assisting cell turnover.
Isn't the human spine amazing? Well we think so anyway!!

Beautifully made stepping stones, chairs and table by @woodbyname lined up and ready for placing - not sure who’s more excited, the kids or @jamiegibson6 😜 Can’t wait to watch the children playing on these once the young woodland is planted up over the winter 🌳 #excited
Not everyone who comes to see me suffers with congestion; this beautiful client has pigmentation and scarring issues and feels that her complexion is lacklustre and a bit grey.
With all new clients we have a lengthy chat about what bothers them, what they hope to achieve and then a brief discussion on how the skin works and the best way to ensure it’s health whilst achieving goals!
This result is after just one treatment! Dermaplaning gives instant brightening by removing dead skin cells, sebum and other external congestion revealing the healthier skin underneath! She also had a spot Salicylic Acid Peel and Oxygen Infusion.
If you think this is impressive, waiting until her cell turnover is healthy, consistent and her skin enters the “heal” phase! (Approximately 6 months)
I recently had a client ask me if seperate night creams were important; the simple answer is No. However, it does depend on what your skin type and issues are, your lifestyle, the ingredients in the cream and of course personal preference.
First and foremost, you should understand that sleep is the time when your body repairs itself. This is true for your skin as much as it is for your brain or your muscles. During sleep, your skin’s blood flow increases, and the organ rebuilds its collagen and repairs damage from UV exposure, reducing wrinkles and age spots.
Medical Grade Night creams are designed to support and work with this natural “repair” phase of our skin. They contain actives that aid and boost collagen production, target pigmentation and provide greater hydration. This is because whilst we sleep and our skin is going through repairs, it’s more susceptible to active ingredients that support this function; Ingredients like retinol & glycolic Acid are incredibly beneficial. Another difference in night creams is that they tend to be heavier and thicker. This is due to our Sebaceous Glands slowing down production of sebum at night; add in the fact our skin gets slightly hotter whilst we sleep and it’s prime conditions for drier skin.
Another reason for a seperate day & night Moisturiser is for day creams that include an SPF or a night cream that includes retinol; which are specific to certain times of day.
How cute are these?! I bought them for £1 each and they're going to be given as a few Christmas presents!🦉 I'm actually hoping to make my own next year!! 🎅 We are having a right faff at the moment as I'm meant to be going to Worcester tomorrow for my final nutritionist appointment but all of the rains are cancelled due to flooding! 🌊 Brilliant 👎 Instead I'm going to get a few Christmas bits in town & tidy the house a bit (we're on a decluttering spree - anything we don't need or love is going!) but it's so frustrating! We're going to have to rearrange & hopefully will get a refund for our train tickets!

Christmas is in full swing at Yarnton. Santa’s Christmas grotto opens tomorrow, the first batch of real trees line the plants area and we’ve decked the halls with the finest of decorations. Pop in this weekend to get the festivities underway 🎄🥰
Pain isn't always caused by the tissue in which you feel it - Myofascial Trigger Points (muscle knots) often refer pain to locations quite distant from the causative muscle injury. Our Chiropractor Catherine Owers focused on trigger points for her BSc(Hons) University Thesis so knows a lot about their diagnosis and treatment.
If you are suffering from muscle pain give us a call on 01242 513459 - we can help! 💪

At the gallery now until 19 November - Claudia Araceli presenting her summer in pleinair paintings.
~ Afternoon light ~ golden hour is hands down the best time of day. Particularly when celebrating a glorious summer’s day. Naturally, I’ve reverted to memories of summer given that the temperature in London has now dropped significantly. But can you blame me? Just look at it. I could bask in that dreamy golden glow forever ✨

Finally Friday 🎉🙌 What are your plans for this weekend?! I'm going back to Worcester to have my follow up nutritionist appointment! I'm looking forward to hear what she says as I've following my new diet well & have seen some improvements! (lactose free, sugar free, more fibre, new tablets). And Sunday will be a day of rest 😴

MORTGAGES | when you are buying a new build did you know that you do not have to use the mortgage advisor suggested by the builder or estate agent, in fact, our mortgage advisors say it is actually against industry regulations. They advise homebuyers to stand their ground, especially, first-time buyers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whilst the interest rates are low we highly recommend calling our mortgage brokers @themortgagebranch to discuss mortgages, re-mortgaging, and self-build mortgages.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The mortgage team not only provides exemplary customer service but they plant a tree for every completed mortgage to help protect the future of our planet.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Give them a call to find out how they can make your property dreams come true.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I wish it was only this flooded today but we've had torrential rain for a while now and the roads are really rather flooded! We were actually worried that we wouldn't be able to make it home this morning! Luckily it had stopped raining by the time we did our shop! 🌧️🌊

Today is World Kindness Day and I read an article about this amazing idea where you send letters to care homes about what you've been up to as the residents love reading about it & it sparks discussion! The group on Facebook is called Postcard of Kindness (I've linked it on my Instagram stories). 🌄 I thought it was such a good idea and all of the details are on the group - lots of schools have done a club too! Have you heard of it before?

Swipe right ➡️ my Dad has been making this recipe since 1982! There is a reason we keep to this recipe.... Anyone booked into my 'Christmas Baking' or 'Christmas Canapes' workshop will be having a taste of the good stuff and trust me it is GOOOOD
I wish it was blue skies here today! 🌄 What are your plans for today?
I have pilates this evening and am waiting in for lots of parcels to arrive (anyone else nearly done with their Christmas shopping?!). I'm also hoping to practice my crochet that I was taught yesterday! I really loved it - who else does crochet?!
(I was eyeing up @cotswoldwoolcompany when I went for my session in No Labels! If you use wool, I'd recommend looking at the Cotswold Wool company as it looked beautiful!)
An attractive 2-bedroom semi-detached, period cottage #forsale , quietly tucked away off the high street in Blockley. The property has some lovely features including an open fireplace and a range of built in bookshelves and exposed beams. There is parking for one car and a garden that is cleared and ready for planting.
I love these late summer days and the colour of the brick at home. The garden is completely out of control but we still have some sweet peas and the dahlias have gone mad. These pictures have got nothing to do with interior design but I couldn’t resist. You can see from this photograph how the old 17th century farmhouse was poshed up in the 1720s... but it’s only the facade. The house is only one room deep and has a humble interior.

This Queen Anne farmhouse is home to Emily Todhunter, her husband, Manoli Olympitis, and their three children along with two labradors, three horses, three cats, chickens and white doves! The house, built in 1720, is in a tiny hamlet in Wiltshire overlooking the Marlborough downs.
Country Life Magazine has said: “Nothing has been ‘designed’, one senses the essence of English country-house decoration, which is not so much about a design aesthetic as a way of life… the overall effect is one of relaxed comfort.” Swipe right to see more pictures.
