The shiver you get when you know it's Monday tomorrow! 😂 Do you like the fresh start of the week? I love turning over the page in my @charlottengland diary and seeing a fresh clean page ready to fill in!
Hi there 👋... it’s been a while! I’ve fell out of love with this app a lot recently - seems a lot of you feel the same way judging by your posts (yes, I’ve been mostly nosy when I have popped on here). In addition, we’ve had a lot of illness and sickness bugs in our household the past couple of months which is another reason I’ve not really joined in here. However, we’re all feeling much brighter and happier this week so here goes... first post of the year is a photo of one of my favourite buildings in Broadway. Such a beautiful day out there strolling around this Cotswold village, albeit a bit chilly! Hope you’re all well?! #igerscotswolds#cotswoldlife#alliseeispretty#alittlebeautyeveryday#smallmomentsofcalm#myadventuresinhistory#weekendvibes ✌️
The weather is doing all sorts of crazy things at the moment! On Thursday it was so incredibly stormy and the flooding appeared again, but then today we had a frost and it's glorious! Hopefully we'll get some good drying weather before lambing starts 🌄 (thank you to my brother and his girlfriend for this photo)
On Thursday we were blood testing the sheep - it's a long, slow process, and it always feels worse in bad weather - we typically did it on the day there was torrential rain and it was blowing a hooley! 🌪️ We have a good little system going though: I open the gate to let the sheep in, Grandad pushes them through to the blood taking pen, my cousin holds the sheep, the vet takes the blood, mum writes down the ear tag number and sticks down the blood tub barcode down on the form, and then Granny let's the sheep out once we're done! 🐑
As I look around the chaos of our “real life” house today and my ever growing to do list, I am reflecting on how lovely it is to be able to get away to a holiday cottage where everything is already done, where an army of cleaners and maintenance crews ensure that nothing ever gets out of control, where you can retreat and just truly relax... I think I’m ready for my next visit! Happy weekend all, I’ll be cleaning and daydreaming of the Cotswold hills.. photo @olivergrahame

At the beginning of writing this blog, way back in 2011, even though my posts were few and far between, my intention was to create a document of my thoughts, which were guiding me to the place from which I now write to you daily.
Even though, my writing has creative elements about it, which is in large part my natural expression, mixed with the in this moment inspiration and my connection with the inner source – it is still very much a documenting of the processes that are shaping me as a human being, first and foremost (this relates to all the wonderful connections: sister, daughter, mother, best friend) – and then as an artist and designer, creative entrepreneur and influencer of positive thinking, as a soul (a vessel of love for the divine energy to flow to one and all).

This weekend, why not treat yourself to our Sunday Carvery?
With unlimited soup and salad bar and a carvery main course for only £12.95 per adult and £6.50 for children under 12, we can't think of a better way to enjoy an Oxfordshire afternoon!
I have so many memories under this bridge of sorting through the sheep for many many summers! 🌄 It was a good little holding pen! But, it was ways odd hearing trains go over your head! (Thank you to my auntie for the photo!)
“...So far the Cotswolds has been the most picturesque part of England I've seen. Cute old villages and towns, cozy cobbled streets, quietness, lots of green and ochre colors. I'm definitely in love! And I think that going in the autumn was also a good decision.”
