Remember how I mentioned moving out of the city? We are so happy to be in this beautiful area! The last few weeks have been exciting and fulfilling as we settled into our new little home. .
We've also been without internet until yesterday, so I've felt like we have really been pioneering it. But honestly, I've loved the lack of external noise. (Don't get me wrong, I definitely made a trip or two to my parents' house for no other purpose than to scroll and see what I've missed.) .
It's been so nice to just focus on my family and home. It really helped me prioritize the things that matter most. Family. That's what this life is all about. And when it comes down to it, I think that's what I will miss most about working Labor and Delivery. I'll miss the privilege of assisting new mothers, and witnessing families being born. .
But here's to helping families in other ways now! Luckily, I don't have to be a nurse to help those around me.
5 yrs and 2 months I lived in Los Angeles California. I gave it a good run, but learned that it was just not for me. I am just not a city girl at all. January 9th 2020, I left California and drove back across the country to Chattanooga Tennessee. I am already more comfortable than I have been in a long time. Just missin 1 thing, the woman I feel is the love of my life, but my heart and soul feels she will come to Tennessee soon. ❤ Grateful for this new chapter of this thing called life. The journey has been real. #bye#california#hello#tennessee#newlife#country#countryliving#love#happy#fallbackinlovewithlife#chattanooga#home#homesweethome
Sorry we haven’t been very active the last few weeks... we have been getting some crazy winter storms lately! We didn’t have power for a couple days because we got so much snow in one night that trees were taking out power lines all over the county! It’s also been a battle keeping our driveway plowed enough to even get back to our house😬❄️🌨 Needless to say working the horses has been out of the picture😬 I’m actually glad winter finally hit hard so that I can start looking forward to Spring😊 •
How has the weather been where you live?? Hope all is well with you guys🥰
We get asked all the time to do videos of us making items start to finish so here’s one. This is our 6 cup coffee holder that has quickly become a top seller for us.
We didn’t film the cutting/staining/polyurethane, but this is everything else trimmed down a bit.
It truly is us working together to get these items made for our customers. A team effort ❤️
We had the most beautiful sunrise on the farm this morning! 🙌🏼 These kind of mornings make me stop and think about how His mercies are new everyday. So, the kids and I stopped and told Jesus thank you for painting the sky this morning. 🧡
We finally took down the Christmas tree and decorations on Monday...partly because I just love the festive coziness that comes with all things Christmas and I just didn’t want it to go...and partly because I simply dreaded the task! Pretty sure this was the longest we’ve left it all out...middle of January?! 😳 But as much as I hated to see it all go, it’s nice to have a clean slate...a fresh start! .
