Over 20 years of love standing affectionately in front of Jp and I. I can only think that in 10 more years we'll still be this totally in awe of one another. Loves like this are our reminder to always keep choosing each other. 🖤

Hello friends! Our time in Thailand is coming to an end, but its been the most amazing experience we've ever had! We got engaged on our beach while the sun rose, bathed and fed the most beautiful elephants, visited temples, went bamboo rafting, and did things both of us never would have dreamed we would ever be doing!
We both had happy childhoods and grew up like any average person has, both did okay at school, went to college, Ryan went to uni to study computer science and Hannah got a job in a supermarket, but neither of us really knew what we wanted from life. It was only really until we met that we both realised that we wanted to see the entire world and work while travelling. Ryan has been working extremely hard on his own business and Hannah took every extra at work that was going. It's only recently we have decided to become business partners and work together extra hard to achieve the lives we want together.
Really, we're only babies to the travel world, but both of us have been to sooo many wonderful places together the past few years, and the fact that we have put in enough effort to be able to afford to be here Thailand is truly astonishing!
We are just so proud of ourselves, and this is only the beginning!! 💕💕💕
It's been a whole month since Husband and I have explored something new. We are itching for a new adventure.

Before the kids, there was just us.
Let’s talk about 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘨𝘦.
Recently James and I celebrated 5 years of 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘨𝘦. It’s easy to have a quick glimpse into our relationship through social media and think we have it all figured out. But, the 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 is that we worked extremely hard to get where we are. The road to learning 𝘩𝘰𝘸 to 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 each other isn’t easy.
What I mean with that is that you need to 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 your partner in the way they best receive and need 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞. We don’t all show and feel 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 the same way; so you make sure you’re fulfilling your partners needs.
If you haven’t yet heard about the 5 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 languages I highly recommend you research it! There’s quizzes online that will rank the ways you interpret 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.
Then have an 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯 and 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵 conversation with your partner, talk about the results and how moving forward you can 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 them how they need to be 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝.
Laissez les bons temps rouler! 💜💚💛
Let the good times roll! — A Cajun French phrase commonly used in Louisiana (and the Gulf Coast) and definitely in New Orleans! 😁😆
As you can see in the photos above, this is a wonderful LEGO display of New Orleans, including their famous Bourbon Street, during Mardi Gras! 🎭🎲
We haven’t done too much over the past couple days. Just relaxed and ran errands. However it still amazes me that this is literally the view at every shopping center in Greater Palm Springs. Palm tree backed by beautiful mountains. You pull up to Lowe’s....this. You pull up to ALDI....this. You pull up to Target...this! We can’t get enough! ❤️🌴

Okay so I wasn't going to post these yet but i am in love with this shot! And i couldn't wait! So here is a little sneak peek for you @ella_clarise
Ella and her beautiful daughter!
Planning our next trip, always.
What is your one never forget item when flying? For Rae, it’s unfortunately motion sickness medicine 🥴. Also a book or her kindle. For Keith, probably downloads of The Office on his phone.
Long flights can be trying, but I think we’re genuinely starting to enjoy them. If the Netflix app doesn’t crash (😒) it’s a great time to catch up on TV series and rest for the adventures ahead!
📍Wat Pathum Wanaram, Bangkok, Thailand -
Austin has been one of our shorter trips, so we definitely focused on the more touristy things to do! Some of the places we checked out include:
i. The Texas State Capitol - A must visit historic statehouse. Great informative tours and exhibits here at thus gorgeous building!
ii. Zilker Park - A 351 acre metropolitan park with tons of activities for friends, family and loved ones.
iii. The Domain - Set up like a park, this place features mainstream restaurants as well as a long list of brands to shop from.
iv. Sixth Street - One of the most iconic streets in Austin, the reason behind Austin being named the “Live Music Capital of the World”. Go here for amazing nightlife.
One important component of travel we focus on is finding ourselves a great Airbnb! We love a good view from our balcony/window. The Airbnb we stayed at gave us views different from the typical downtown skyline. Over the almost two years since we’ve been traveling together, we can’t help but think about how cool it would be to be hosts some day in the future ourselves!
Fun fact: After every trip, when we drive/fly back, we end up discussing our favorite moments, things we liked, and how we could make our next trip even better (airbnb features, packing trip essentials, meal planning, etc. ) It’s such a great way to get closure to our trips and hopefully come up with some great travel advice for y’all as well! ☺️
This day trip was a blast. A local took us around Bocas del Toro on a small fishing boat. It was one hell of a bumpy ride but so much fun! We started at Playa Estrella & ended at Red Frog Beach. .
The natural beauty of this place is breathtaking. We don't need a fancy boat or big resorts on an island. The simplicity of this way of life is one of the main reasons we enjoy traveling. Now, off to one of our favorite places... Colombia 🇨🇴
We’re going to totally flip the script on you! 😝
We want to know YOUR travel tips! Tell us your hacks, your travel routines, the products or gadgets you just can’t travel without. 📱💻
Our top three travel tips go a little something like this:
1) Check, check and double check your bookings, including the immigration laws of your destination country, as well as vaccine and immunization requirements!👩🏼💻👨🏻💻
2) Reusable water bottles, because single use plastic is sooo 2018, and you never know what the water is like where you’re going.💧
3) A decent pair of trainers or walking shoes is valuable in literally every country!🥾👟
So go on, share your top three!
Reality cannot be proven to exist outside of our ability to perceive it through our senses.
Have you thought about how different species have different color receptors (dogs have 2 and see limited colors, mantis shrimp have 12 and can see some monstrous colors yet imagined)? And that none of us are necessarily correct, nature just exists, it’s just our brains interpreting vibrations and light. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Breathe deep, use all your senses ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This adoption journey has not been easy...
We’re feeling a bit emotionally drained (in a good way) after our 16 hour training class over the weekend. It was SO good - lots of learning, good discussions with other adoptive couples, guest speakers, an infancy crash course, etc. But it also brought up lots of emotions- pain from our infertility, uncertainty and insecurity regarding our adoption preferences, differences between the two of us, but then also compassion for the brave women placing their children, excitement for getting another step closer to our baby, etc etc etc. This process just keeps us on our toes!!
But one thing is for sure, just like with other challenges we’ve faced together, it’s deepened our relationship with one another and more importantly our trust in God. And we couldn’t have a better adoption team - from our amazing consultant @r8chelmp who is always willing to talk things through with us (working with @rgadoption was the best choice), to our home study agency @adoptionchoicesofcolorado , to our profile book designer @ourchosenchild . We’ve been so blessed and have so much faith in everyone we’ve worked with so far!
Every day we’re getting one step closer and know that we’re on the right path to finding our baby!
