Cool cool cool... tried to edit a typo on this post and deleted it because I wasn’t paying attention. I’m doing great today... Okay so let’s get to business! This is my Apple crumble pie... but mini and no crumble...with cute leaves for a crust! They are just so so so precious! Also who doesn’t love a flower wall? If I could figure out how to do this permanently in my home I would.
Home today for a couple of days before I leave (yet again) and it was nice seeing Napoleon and Charlemagne (waiting for Jules to get home) and it was so great getting in the kitchen again, even if it was for work. Recipe coming soon for @goboldwithbutter.
“I just need to get through these next few weeks, and then things will slow down and I can relax.”....that’s what I said to J last night as I was crawling into bed. And the moment they came out of my mouth, I had a pit in my stomach and already regretted the words I had just spoken.
I was wishing the season away. Me. A girl who lives to find grace and joy in every season (especially this one) was wishing it away. I felt like a fraud.
But here’s the thing. Last night was a wake up call. A good reminder that I need to make some changes. I don’t want to feel stressed over things that in reality - aren’t worth stressing about!
The reality is, it’s not all going to get done this year. I can’t say “yes” to it all. Projects, blog posts, parities, cookie baking, whatever. It can’t all happen. And I’m settling into that new reality. Less is more for me this year.
So I’m challenging myself over the next few days before thanksgiving to decide how I want this season to go. Setting an intention to focus on what I truly want. I’m making a “bucket list” of what really matters to me over the next six weeks - and the rest I’m leaving behind this year.
And I’m asking all of you to join me. Let’s all agree to take some things off our plates this year. For staters, I think I’m going to order Christmas dinner (which you know kills me), but it’s one things I don’t “have” to do and it takes me away from my kids and watching x-mas movies on the couch (and THAT I will remember, not the mashed potatoes I made). What about you?? What’s one LESS thing you can do this year?
I want to go into this season grateful and mindful and joyful and all those good things - and I want you to, too.
This season can be whatever we want it to be - and I’m choosing joy ✨

QUESTION: Do you prefer pumpkin or Banana for baking!? 🍌
Back from an amazing honeymoon and all we can think about is Hawaii’s delicious banana bread! This is my homemade “healthier” version of banana bread. Chocolate chips are optional but highly recommended! Recipe in bio under recipes & desserts!

Still not sure what to make for Thanksgiving dessert? Look no further! This Apple Cobbler is quick & easy to make and tastes delish. Dare I say that I like it better than Apple Pie? 🤪 Get the recipe on the blog!
Our family is all about apps for thanksgiving (and all year round). So for my thanksgiving menu this year I am making these pumpkin tahini crostinis (that are also very fun to say) sweetened with maple syrup. the best part is that they can be made quickly so you can spend the rest of your time cooking all those sides!!! 🦃🥕🥧 link to the recipe in my profile! #feedfeed#vermontmaplesyup#contest

“El que trabaja con sus manos es un obrero;
El que trabaja con sus manos y su cerebro es un artesano;
Pero el que trabaja con sus manos y su cerebro y su corazón es un artista”. Me hizo pensar en Corey.
Reminded me of my hubby. 🥰
Your table is ready! Stop by and unwind for a timeless afternoon tea served with a twist. #EatDrinkBeInspired

i’ve always dreamt of a cast iron dutch oven, but have you seen their maintenance rules? no high heat or temperature shocks, no metal tools inside, immersion blender? – oh no, you’ll scratch the enamel, god forbid!😱and lets be honest, if i make a borscht in one, i will never be able to lift it up myself😂 i’m so happy i found this ceramic beauty for our kitchen 💛 it’s light and unkillable and i can’t wait to cook more with it. Let me know your favorite winter soup! i’m looking for recipes to try next🙏🏻😊

What's my favorite homemade dessert?
Galette!! What's my favorite homemade dessert for this Thanksgiving? ... An Apple Cranberry Galette with an Almond Crust!! We could talk all day about this beautiful rustic tart with it's buttery crust, secret cookie layer, and lightly sweet/tart filling or you could just hop over to my website and print the recipe for next Thursday! Best served with a scoop of vanilla bean or cinnamon Ice Cream!! You can thank me later!! ❤ Also, you can find my favorite organic cranberries from @decasfarms in stores now!
I’m sharing the minimal, natural, budget friendly ways I decorated my kitchen and front porch (because who wants to go all out at 18 weeks preggo) on jonesvilleblog.com today AND all the links to the other home tours.
Once you stop by be sure to head to Paula’s @virginiasweetpea festive family room! Do you already have your holiday decorations up or you a “give Thanksgiving it’s time in the sun” person?
Now, Poppy isn't the only pretty thing that will welcome our Holiday guests at the door! 😊 We just refreshed our entryway with a few new finds from @crateandbarrel, and I couldn't be happier with these timeless pieces! The olive green @crateandkids dresser, Anurhada mirror, and Harvest decor elements are classic but fresh, and work so well with the vintage pieces in our home. See more photos of this space and shop the collection via the link in my stories! #CrateStyle | sponsored
What is one area of your kitchen that you would want to update or change? Pantries are often a space that can use a bit of help especially when it comes to storage. I love mixing containers and using neutral colors. This is definitely an inspiration😳⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
