This is a great option for those that need positive marks on their credit 👇
1. PayYourRent : allows you to make your rent payments through the PayYourRent. The service reports your timely payments to all three credit bureaus. Pricing varies depending on whether
your landlord has signed up for the service. .
2. RentalKharma will add up to 24 months of past rent payments to your credit report. The registration fee is $25 per person and the monthly charge is $6.95. To add past rental history, you must pay a fee of $5 for each month you want to report. It takes about two weeks to see results. .
3. RentTrack acts as a middleman between you and your landlord. You pay RentTrack, they pay your rent, and report timely payments to all three major credit bureaus. You'll pay a monthly service charge depending on your landlord and
payment type. .
4. Rock the Score verifies your rent payments with your landlord each month and updates your credit score with your payment information. You'll pay $25 to enroll in the service and $8.95 each month for ongoing reporting. There's also an option to

For the many of you who have been messaging me about getting a first credit card, this is the card i recommend.
The Discover Chrome card is a great first option due to its simplicity and very easy approval standards.
2% cashback on everything in the first year is elite for an entry level card, and $0 annual fee to boot. Great card to set the baseline for a credit profile.
You can even get a $50 bonus if you apply through a referral offer and you can find that at the link in my bio. 💳 💰

I’ve already discussed United’s decision to devalue during this COVID situation.
However, I wanted to talk about what this change means in more practical terms for those who have Chase Ultimate Rewards points.
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐥💳
While I always recommend comparing award rates to portal rates prior to booking, I have really hammered home its importance for economy flights.
However, with United’s devaluation, this has become more important for biz class tickets as well.
𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐈𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐥💰
Remember, if you have the Sapphire Reserve, your Chase points are worth 1.5 cents each in the portal.
If you have the Sapphire Preferred or Ink Preferred, your points are worth 1.25 cents each in the portal.
𝐀𝐧 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞🏰
Since biz class flights to Europe are popular, let’s use that as an example.
United now requires 77k miles one-way for a biz class award on a partner airline. That’s 154k miles round-trip. You’ll also be on the hook for taxes/fees - fortunately, no surcharges.
If you book a round-trip ticket via the Chase portal, 154k points can get you a $2,310 ticket with the Sapphire Reserve or a $1,925 ticket with the Sapphire Preferred or Ink Preferred.
You’ll also earn redeemable miles as these are just cash tickets. If airline status is important to you, these portal bookings can be quite useful.
Neither of the example prices is a great cash deal, yet you’d be better off booking via the portal rather than transferring points to United to book an award ticket.
𝗪𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐀𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭
Basically, if cash prices are steep, awards will be your best bet whether it’s a one-way or round-trip ticket.
With Chase points, you’ll have several transfer options. Regardless of which you use, make sure you compare to the portal options.

Here’s to useful credit card updates during this COVID mess!
If you have the CSR, you can erase dining, grocery, and home improvement purchases at a rate of 1.5 cents per point. If you have the CSP, this rate is 1.25 cents per point.
Basically, the value of each point matches their value in the Chase travel portal.
This option will be available May 31 - Sept 30, 2020.

Additionally, the CSR's annual $300 credit will be expanded to include gas station and grocery purchases. This will be in effect June 1 through the end of the year.
Recently, Chase had been giving $100 statement credits to those renewing their CSRs. Functionally, this dropped the annual fee from $550 back to $450.
From July 1 through the end of the year, the annual fee upon renewal will be $450.
𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐔𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥?🤔
If you would typically redeem points via the Chase travel portal, the statement credit options for dining, grocery, and home improvement could be a good option as you'll get the same value per point.
In fact, it could be a better deal for you even if you're booking future travel. Think about it...
Let's say you have the CSR and need to make a $500 purchase at Home Depot or Lowes. The CSR only earns 1x on these purchases. If you erase the purchase, you'd need 33,333 UR points but you'd still have the $500 in your pocket.
When it comes time to book $500 in travel, you could now pay with the CSR rather than redeeming points via the Chase portal. This would allow you to earn 3x on the travel purchase.
Either way, you're spending $500. However, you'll earn 3x instead of 1x on the purchase which means you'll earn 1,500 points instead of 500 points.
Amex beat Chase to the punch on making some useful updates to its cards in light of the COVID situation but Chase is fighting back.
What do these changes mean for you?
New office who dis?
Anyone remember this loft space from my stories a few weeks back?
It was trashed with toys, stuff we needed to put in storage, and toys. Did I already say toys? Soooo many toys.
Thanks to my handy husband @timbergiant_metalworks and some pre-planned spending, we transformed this space into a light, bright office complete with a stand-up desk I’ve been wanting Mark to build for me 🤓 We’ve still got a bit of work to do (like blinds on that window and some decor) but I’m thankful to finally have a space that’s not my dining room table 🤪
My sinking funder tracker is here— link in bio, or see my stories!
If you’ve been following me for awhile you know that I’ve recently been focused on saving money. In an effort to keep myself on track I originally created this sheet for myself, but after receiving all your DMs and questions—I made one just for y’all :)
The best part is that the sheet is SUPER easy to use:
All you need to do is enter:
▫️Your sinking fund goal amount(s)
▫️The amount you currently have saved for each sinking fund
▫️Your goal date(s)
The worksheet will automatically calculate:
▫️Total left to save (for each sinking fund)
▫️Percent to goal (for each sinking fund)
▫️Months left to save (for each sinking fund)
▫️Amount to save per month (for each sinking fund)
▫️Amount to save per month (total)
It’s that easy!
You can use the code BAE20 to get the sheet for just $4 :) The discount will be available till 11:59 pm CST!
