Happy @flavorofpoland#Friday from the chef’s table at @bottiglieria1881 , one of Kraków’s finest boutique restaurants! Located in a 19th century tenement house in Kazimierz, (Kraków’s Jewish quarter) it fascinates intimate groups of guests with a unique and carefully designed menu rooted in local, Polish products and traditions, paired, of course, with an unbelievable selection of European wines! Bottiglieria’s unique offering has received applause from diners who come from all over the world to enjoy its food and drink, as well as prestigious organizations such as Michelin, Gault & Millau, Slow Food Polska and many more. I think its best and most excellent aspect, however, are the people behind it 😉🤗. Bottiglieria is the product of a true passion for fine wine and great food initiated by its visionary founder, Robert Gumuliński, and shared today by its head chef, Przemysław Klima (@klimaprzemyslaw ), and his team of culinary experts. Though the fare may be upscale the atmosphere here is nothing short of inviting, warm and good-humored - great, Polish hospitality at its finest! Big thank you to the owner and chef for the invitation! It was an honor and a treat to uncover Bottiglieria together with my Mama. It’s certainly one of Kraków’s proudest culinary gems. I encourage you all to check it out too! 🤗🍷🍽😋🇵🇱🍁.

So this is how my map of Bangkok looks like at the moment. The ♥️ mark the places I have been to and worth saving. Most of them are restaurants of course 😊 The green flags are still on the list to do. Work in progress! Still looking for a carving teacher and a photographer 😎
Getting high in Jamaica. 🇯🇲 Literally, high in the clouds, nestled on a quiet mountain is @stushinthebush -a magical, incredible, delicious farm to table experience & I can’t believe it took me this long to visit! The best farm to table experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it on your next Jamaica trip! #CessieTravels
Visit to Estonia: my photo doesn’t do this black currant cake justice... The flavor and the attractiveness do live up to the place it is served: the Opera and Ballett Theatre Estonia.

The second (yes, second) set of amuse dishes @sidatthefrenchcafe in Auckland the other night: clam and foam in the shell, fish beignet with black garlic crust and the most delicate little cones with fresh peas and buffalo cream. The start of an amazing seven course tasting underscoring the cornucopia of New Zealand ingredients from paua to lamb inventively paired from wines all over the country! The perfect start to our trip!
🇺🇸 Stunning Brooklyn Crab in Red Hook .

Who are they?
Better yet: what are they?
And even better : what do they do?
Calypso is not a common “Ladyboy Show”. They are neither ladies nor boys, but naturally born individuals, although different from the natural norm.
Calypso-performers are Thai Transgender artists. What they do on stage seems to be unique. Their presence on stage is a show of individual talents, a whole language by its own. A meticulous balance of exclusive choreography featuring the individuals to their very best of abilities and the concept of highly valued class, style and taste.
Tonight I will join their show. I am very excited!
We’re looking forward to the beginning of our 12th season in 2020! We’re fine-tuning our 6-day culinary programs and reservations are now open! Several times a year, we open the doors of The Cook's Atelier to guests from around the world who are interested in learning more extensively about the food and wine culture of Burgundy. Our Seasonal Burgundy Masterclass program is a special opportunity for an in-depth and personalized experience at The Cook's Atelier. On the first evening, we’ll meet and greet guests at our Atelier and enjoy a candlelit welcome dinner. We’ll spend the next five days exploring our local market and cook together in our Atelier kitchen emphasizing classic French cooking techniques and methods every home cook should know. We'll explore essentials of having a well-stocked pantry and classic French butchery techniques. We’ll prepare essential stocks and sauces, master the art of pastry doughs, desserts, and soufflés. We'll review the importance of creating a proper French larder and setting up a kitchen with classic cook's tools and provisions. Throughout the week, we'll enjoy seasonal lunches enjoying the fruits of our labor and taste some of Burgundy's most extraordinary wines. An experience at The Cook’s Atelier is truly unique as it is so much more than just a cooking school. Guests are immersed in the day-to-day beauty and attention to detail that surrounds. They experience the warmth and hospitality in our kitchen and quickly become fast friends and part of our extended family. Amidst the chopping, dicing and the clanking of copper pots, practical aspects of French cooking will be covered along with the greater importance of sourcing and forming relationships with the artisans who grow the food we cook. And when the program is complete, guests take home much more than just the recipes. They’ll each return home inspired to cook and to share the table with those who matter most. Visit our website for more information. #thecooksatelier
Autumn is in the air and October is fast approaching. It’s our 11th autumn here in the region and it’s one of our favorite times of year! Our local market fare is transitioning away from the bright colors of summer and showing signs of heartier légumes just in time for braising and slow cooking. We’re working on recipes, preparing menus, and reveling in this shift of seasons all in anticipation of our Seasonal Burgundy Masterclass 6-Day programs next month, a truly full circle cooking experience. Amidst the chopping, dicing and the clanking of copper pots, practical aspects of French cooking will be covered along with the greater importance of sourcing and forming relationships with the artisans who grow the food we cook. Each day, once the masterclass is complete, we'll head upstairs to our light-filled dining room where Champagne flutes are filled and toast one another in anticipation of the long French lunch ahead. The zinc-topped table is set in beautiful French fashion with vintage linens and cutlery, fresh flowers, and plenty of candlelight. Guests enjoy the seasonal menus created from the fruits of their labor, presented in beautifully plated courses and paired with some of France's most extraordinary wines. Guests enjoy the meal, the company and the conversation around the table, savoring the experience as a whole. They experience the warmth and hospitality in our kitchen and quickly become fast friends and part of our extended family. And when the program is complete, guests take home much more than just the recipes. They’ll each return home inspired to cook and to share the table with the people who matter most. We’re taking reservations now for our 2020 programs and we hope to see you next year in Beaune! (image by @smartanson) #thecooksatelier#frenchcookingschool#forthecook#cookinginfrance#culinarytravel

For @monkishbrewing, I'll sit on the 405 for an extra hour. Would you?? •• Monkish Brewing has got to be one of theee most hyped up breweries in the LA area, if not all of California. So, despite only having a few short hours in SoCal, I *had* to squeeze in a quick visit somehow.
Nowadays, Monkish is widely known for their IPA's but I chose to go for what originally put them on the map: their Belgian-style ales.
Out of the three Belgians they had on tap, my ultimate favorite was the Seme Della Vita — a Tripel brewed with pistachios and vanilla beans 😋 Maybe it was the heat, but I found this beer to be as refreshing as any Belgian Tripel could get. And with pistachios and vanilla beans, this beer honestly reminded me of the ice-cream my brother and I would race down the street for on a hot summer’s day🍦✨
So to anyone in LA, you’ll definitely want to make your way out to Torrance and drink this up 😎
