🌺Finally got my life in an order!
Since I’ve been working I don’t got time to comb my hair and I’m tryna avoid my hair drying out because my hair has a high porosity which means it’s prone to losing moisture quickly so my hair has been in a lot of plaits lately.
Do you guys have any favorite go to protective hairstyles? 🌺My favorite is a side part with two Dutch braids and a bun.
Guysssss, the @missuniverseaustralia.official program is honestly so awesome, I highly recommend !! 🙌🏽🙌🏽Yesterday I met the Miss Universe VIC fam and the @eimele_australia team. We sat down to a fantastic plant based meal at @qtmelbourne where @plant_proof spoke to us about everything social media and branding. I found this incredibly insightful, as you can all see my notes haha we even got a copy of a MUST read @ikigaibook 🤓My main goal with social media is to keep on building a community of people who seek to embrace their natural self, uplift others and follow their passions - and this workshop got me even more inspired 🙌🏽💓 hope Thursday treats you well

BOMB Wash & Go Combo! Click the link in my bio to see what products I used in the full video.
Cut my hair 2 months ago on a whim. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it at first, but it’s starting to grow on me. Part of that is thanks to @devacurl products. They sent me their Light Defining Gel and it worked wonders on my hair! I don’t typically use gels on my hair, I’m more of a styling cream type of gal, but their light defining gel was definitely worth the try #obsessed

So crazy how I used to straighten my hair multiple times a week. I never disliked my curly hair...I just didn’t know how to properly take care of it. I still love to switch it up, but man my curly hair is my crown. 👑
These signs from your hair will tell you it’s time for a hot oil treatment
First Feel down your hair shaft, is your hair shedding? Do your fingers get stopped by tangles or knots on the ends?
Next is your scalp dry itchy and flaking from dandruff?
And lastly is your hair splitting at the ends?
If your answer is yes to these questions then it’s time for a hot oil treatment BUT not just ANY... oil.. ( because NOTHING that sits on your hair and smells like baby vomit can be a good thing) 🤔 so make sure your using a cosmetic grade oil as cooking oils will not give your hair the same benefits. It would behoove you to consume all food grade oils instead so that your body gets the benefits and in turn your hair will receive them. Cooking oils especially on thick dense curly hair will throw off the PH balance of your hair and make it even dryer! Yes it will make your hair feel greasy but once it’s rinsed off your back to square ☝🏽 one dry hair- 👎🏽 How to do a hot oil treatment
Step 1: put your oil in hot water to warm or if your steaming your hair after no need to heat.
Step 2 shampoo your hair with a Clarifying shampoo and rinse
Step 3 add your oil to your scalp and hair making sure you get the oil on the whole hair shaft and massage in well.
Step 4 sit under a steamer for 20min or place a cap on your hair and sit under the dryer for 20 min then rinse and this time use a moisturizing shampoo then condition for 7minutes rinse and style as usual 👍🏽 Products used Tried and true @byebyeparabens healing oil made with peppermint almond and essential oils to moisturize dry damaged hair will change not only the results of your hair for the better but on blow out day, your blowout will be easy tangle free and hydrated. #byebyeparabens#tracyriggssalon

It’s always great when you run into a BOMB🔥 defining cream right?! @nia found hers and she can’t get enough of it! 😆 “Besides the fact that I use it for every style now lol I love how light it is, it’s not your typical creamy thick cream. The smell is very natural and it also makes detangling my hair 100% easier!! Most importantly I’ve struggled with finding products that prevent my hair from being so dry and water with the defining cream is the perfect recipe for my hair! It leaves it extremely soft with the right amount of shine,” she said.
1️⃣ Use a wide tooth comb for minimal tension on your curls and comb ends to roots.
2️⃣ Squeeze ALL the water out of your hair before applying your conditioner so your hair can absorb your conditioner.
3️⃣ Use a microfiber towel after showering to prevent frizz and breakage.

Road trip alert! One of my favorites. The Utah desert! It’s the perfect getaway after a season of snow. The weather gets warmer in the spring and there are endless opportunities for hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding, boating. There are National Parks, slot canyons, lakes, petroglyphs, arches and dinosaur footprints. The scenery is stunning with orange sandstone rock formations, desert plants and cacti, spring wildflowers, sand and crazy colorful sunsets - bring a camera!

This hair is perfection, and today she let me braid her little side ponytail and it was glorious. She giggled happily when I showed it to her and said “that my corn horn!” aka unicorn horn. Bc life is unicorns when you’re 2 years old. Her giggle, her smile, the way she runs, arms outstretched towards me when I pick her up from school...I try every day to remember these things. To imprint them on my brain. No matter what happens with this case, I am wise enough now to know how quickly childhood passes. I know I’ll want to go back to when her sweet curly head laid on my shoulder every night while I hummed her to sleep. I know I’ll miss it all. So for now, I breathe her in every day and take pictures and hope that she these memories we are making together make her happy some day too.
