▪︎DISCIPLINE▪︎ My discipline has not been consistent like I need it to be lately. And I felt it. I've been consistent everywhere but with my diet and I felt it in my mood. Not that day but a day or two later and I found my motivation was gone as well. That's how I work. I don't see the workout results or the donuts for ✌🏼 days and that makes it really tricky to figure out what I need to keep my distance from and ehats good for me.
I declared my year for better balance, BALANCE is my word. It's been just as difficult despite the fact that I'm focusing more on it. I need to push a little more to hit my goals and I know I can do it.
Here's to Monday:
Pain tolerance. Do you have the mental fortitude to get past the tough times without quitting? I vaguely mentioned this in my most recent video. You have to be patient with your results. We live in a culture that praises the achievement but not the process. We’re so caught up with the successes of others, but not what they did to get there. Another thing, your success doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s & most likely won’t because your story/journey to success is/will be unique.
With that said, don’t compare yourself to what others are experiencing or achieving. You have to remain persistent and focused on what you’re accomplishing in order to get it.
Today I wanted to encourage you on YOUR journey. I wanted to encourage you not to give up. The only determining factor to your success is you. It has nothing to do with age. It has nothing to do with the new car your friend just bought. It has nothing to do with the house you live in or the spouse you married. You are the only one who can take responsibility for where you are today and where you’ll end up tomorrow. Be patient with yourself and patient with your results. Remember “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” Just take gradual steps toward what you want. Make sure you’re tracking your results in order to measure whether or not what you’re doing is getting you closer or further away and make corrections as needed. We all can live better lives we just have to do it day by day, moment by moment.
Have a great day! #gofurther#pushyourlimits#winning#rogerbannister#4minutemile#progress#Success#successful#successquotes#Inspiration#inspirational#inspirationalquotes#motivational#motivationalquotes#motivation#moneyquotes#richquotes#mentorship#mentor#johngarrett#johngarrettquotes#goodvibes#happy#haveagoodday#dailymotivation#dailyinspiration#entrepreneur#entrepreneurmindset

Awesome great job 👏👏👏 @loving_lessofme_more : #motivationmonday ... And then Monday would come and all of my bad choices that felt like a blur the night before caught up with me in an instant
Days and weeks of consistently making healthy decisions ... and in one weekend it felt as if I was stripped of all my accomplishments. My diet failed. I failed. I was a failure. Except... it didn’t and I wasn’t. I was only learning. Clumsily trying to navigate my way through this whole loving myself thing and creating boundaries between self-control and self-deprivation... all of which was new to me
Sometimes I went back to old habits, I easily fell into their familiarity. And sometimes, I stayed there for a while...Making excuses about why it was too hard or why I just couldn’t do it; lying to myself like a child who was afraid to own up to their actions. But something happened when I chose to let go of the excuses and allowed myself the freedom to make mistakes. I was able to be honest with myself. And through that honesty I’m learning to build a healthy and loving relationship between my mind and my body. A relationship where there is no disappointment, no blame, no need for excuses... one where I can thrive and grow... free from the fear of failure ♥️ ✨💪🏻✔️
Many times we think about growth and think about a change that we want to see, we think about it happening quickly and drastically. We think about becoming better people in an instant. We want to become better spiritually, emotionally, mentally etc. in an allotted time and believe that because we do not see general, overall and widespread change that no change has occurred. Situations take time to resolve. People, like plants take time to grow. Think about the branches of a tree that grow centimeter by centimeter. If you were to say, “the tree has the same number of branches as it did yesterday, therefore it hasn’t grown” You would be ignoring the small but significant areas of growth that it did have. It’s the same for us and our situations, even if, as a percentage, we have currently only achieved 5% change in a situation, that is still change ! It may not be so big that we see huge effects of that change but the process has started. Give yourself and others time to grow and time to change. Trust and believe that if you’re working and they are working towards it, the situation will morph. We just got to give it time and lots of love like dove and respect in all aspects ! •
*Motivational Monday* The Art of Simple Living.. this was one of the books that caught my eye while I was at Barnes & Noble over the weekend - I am trying to do better about living in the present moment and I feel like I am able to bring my best self when I read every morning. One of the other books I am currently reading is the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and something that stayed with me is that if we are worried or stressed it is because we are either living in the past or living in the future, those emotions are not able to exist if we are living in the present. It is amazing how when we slow down and breathe the world around us changes. 💙 #dailymotivation#selfcare#bepresent#bebeautiful#bestrong#bebold#livesimply#livefiercely#taketime#meditate#read#love#live#grow#giveyourselfgrace

***NEW PODCAST EPISODE***
“It’s called freedom of speech and I’m entitled to my opinion.”
“I say what I want when I want.”
“I don’t care what you think. That’s just how I feel.”
Our parents, teachers, and the media shoving “Because I said so” down our throats is making us sh*t “Because I’m entitled to my opinion.“
We’ve become reactive beings who form opinions based on our emotional responses without connecting them to our values, beliefs and history.
We see or hear something that triggers a positive feeling (like joy, gratitude, love, excitement, freedom, hope, purpose..etc), we instantly “like” it and file that in our “approved” box of opinions.
We see or hear something that triggers a negative feeling (such as anger, frustration, guilt, fear, anxiety…etc), we immediately “dislike” it, put an angry face or mean comment and file that in our “unapproved” box of opinions.
And before we have a moment to self-reflect on that strong emotion, we are already scrolling down, swiping left or moving onto the next topic of interest.
We’ve become dichotomous with our opinions because we have stopped asking ourselves why and we have made it socially unacceptable to do so. #podcaster #podcasts#podcasting#culture#straightup#loveyourselfalways#beyourself#motivational_girls#motivationalspeaker#inspirationalblog#hardworker#workethic #
We only miss out when we become like everyone else.
I find so many times we do something, buy something, act a certain way just to fit in or because everyone else is doing it.
When so often that leads to unhappiness, putting on a mask, and trying to be somebody we are not.

Sparkling wines take time to reach their level of perfection.
The longer a sparkling wine is aged, the better it tastes, as time goes by a higher level of quality is achieved. The process is carefully monitored with advanced techniques and precision although once it’s all setup time is the most important factor in creating the perfect sparkling wine.
It’s important that you understand success won’t come overnight.
Running a successful business will take many years of perfection, ageing the business just like ageing wine is what will create the perfect business. The more aged your business is, the more time you have to perfect every single aspect of it.
It’s key to not rush your journey, take your time, perfect your business & be patient.
It's hard not to be ashamed of the way my kiddos treat each other. And when it happens in public, I'm pretty mortified. My #counselor told me that people are resistant to change, especially children. They will take longer to alter their behavior than I will. Their habits formed in a time when their mother was more selfish, less orderly, and quite moody. They will even cling to the old ways of relating to each other for no other reason that they know it and it's more comfortable.
So, some days I feel like they are fortifying their ramparts, taking a stand against change. This battle against their bad habits and lack of self-control are one part of teaching them "what they need to know for salvation."
I bought these adorable posters in a moment of spontaneity. My oldest really benefits from long heart-to-hearts about virtue, #reallife consequences and what Christ wants of her. My youngest, I think, will benefit from a few catchy phrases. Hopefully, after I use them 2,000 times, he will hear them in his head before he loses control of himself.
In the end, my children wouldn't want to be known as bullies. That's why they only boss and bicker in the privacy of their home. They know it's wrong. They would want to be the nice kid. #OurLadyofGoodHelp , pray for us!
Happy Monday boss ladies! Today I’m sharing with you another inspiring #bosslady of #montreal . Meet joana Rochelle. Using her own personal experience with traumas, unhealthy-relationship & violence, she decided to start her show @latableedesfemmes , to talk about the many issues women are facing in today’s society.
The topics include self-estim, emotional dependency, the role of women in society. Her goal is to raise awareness & educate young ladies about the challenges and difficulties they might encounter. Thank you Jodana for your hard work ! It is inspiring!
Most people see calm.
Most people see business.
Some see peaceful chatter after a successful real estate transaction.
In a way, all of those things are 100% correct, but it’s what you don’t see that matters.
It’s what you don’t see that creates success. It’s what you don’t see that is, as we often say, “Real Estate Done Right”. It’s the deal that didn’t close a year ago.
It’s the sellers having to move back into their home.
It’s the buyer that this time, had it all together.
It’s the loan that was just about complete, that due to one very small oversight, had to be resubmitted entirely and underwritten, pushing a closing date back by 3 weeks.
It’s the same loan that was not approved until 1 day before the new closing date.
It’s the title company that could not, due to a busy schedule, accommodate the closing time.
It’s the different title company that basically 100% stopped their day to make these 3 sides of a closing happen.
It’s the wife that had to leave work to make the closing happen.
It’s the funds that almost were never sent, which would have meant the next transaction would have not happened.
It’s the other lender that was on their game so well that all the stress, the wonder, the uncertainty from that end could be eliminated.
Many see so much, what I see, it’s teamwork, family, compassion, empathy, understand, grit… I see Real Estate Done Right.
Some say it takes a village to raise a child, I say it takes a village to do make real estate work. Find your village, find your tribe, do real estate right.
Thank you to those that when above and beyond to give. Thank you to those that trust us to make it all happen.
Congratulations to our clients.
