Last night we were wrapping things up around the property. Brad was at the front checking our mail and this guy came to him happy as a pig in mud. Tail wagging so hard he almost fell over. He is an obvious stray(there are a lot of stray animals here). We fed and watered him. He does have ear mites and probably ticks and maybe a bunch of other things that need attention. He slept in our garage with it cracked open for him to come and go a warm place to sleep with a heater and blankets. We thought that if he’s still here in the morning then he chose us and we will vet him and allow him to live at The Haven.
It’s ironic that as we are working so hard to get The Haven ready for rescues, he shows up. Let’s see what our vet says about his health and issues we will be addressing. I will keep you posted.
Our "little girl" celebrated her 1st Birthday today!
She has brought love, laughter, slobber, and bouts of frustration to our lives. She is sweet, lives to snuggle and give kisses, loves scrambled eggs, has rapid bursts of zoomies followed by long bits of rest, has a serious stubborn streak, and can be way too protective at times... But she is 100% amazing and ours! #rosie_thedane#firstbirthday#danelife#danelove#growingupdane#oneyearold
