[🇬🇧] I had just gotten out of my car 🚗 and started walking to a shop to buy something when I heard a man calling. I didn't know him so I pretended not to hear him but he kept calling me. I stopped to listen to what he had to say. He got closer and said, "Be careful, I just saw the warden 👮. You will get a ticket parked like that!" I looked at my car and saw the warden walking close by. I thanked him, ran 🏃♀️ to my car, got in and left. I love it when people care about each other, he truly made my day!

I was just looking for a heating pad (my room is so cold!) and came across some treasures!
I honestly didn't even know that I still had my wedding garter. I remember looking through etsy for weeks trying to find the perfect one and I still think it is so beautiful, but as an after thought.. that tradition is weird! 😂
And right on top of that box was a stack of ultrasound pictures, starting with the day we found out that we were having triplets! I don't think I would be lying if I said that day was the scariest of my life and probably the one I will remember the most vividly forever.
Both my marriage and my children are such blessings. We have a unique family structure, but it really couldn't be more perfect. I am just so thankful, so grateful, and so blessed. ♡
Day 52: Redefine success.
How would you define success? Finding happiness and making lots of money? Getting that promotion or hitting your goal?
But what if you don’t ever hit that goal? Maybe you need to look at what you are doing on the way to the goal. Are you making progress? Are you moving forward?
Is it time to redefine success? Consistency over time equals success. What are you doing consistently to bring you closer to your goals? You’ll find joy and happiness in the process. And that will bring success!

Wellness. I think this term is being misused more often these days than not. When you "practice wellness," it should mean that you are taking care of yourself how you see fit. It should mean that you are sleeping as long as you need to be to have energy in your day to get through the things you need to get through. It should mean that you're eating meals that keep you energized and satisfied. It should mean that you're carving out occasional time to do what you need to keep your head in the right space- a lunchtime walk, post work run, weekly or monthly trip to the salon (hair, nails, wax, whatever) beach trip with the kids, Netflix (or Disney+) binge, etc. You define wellness for yourself. Don't let social media tell you what you need to feel happy and balanced. Wellness doesn't mean you need to eat half an organic avocado everyday while using the other half to create and avocado-coconut facemask after doing yoga before cardio but after scrubbing the bathroom counter with your homemade organic lemon-vinegar cleaning solution. Don't buy into the hype. Wellness and balance are personal definitions 💜
For me: I need an hour of absolute quiet to start my day so the alarm goes off around 4am M-F. I feel way better without a lot of added sugar in my diet, so it's rare these days that I indulge in "sweets" but I feel way better. Harvest Pumpkin Blue Moon is my current Achilles heel, so I'll be happy when the stores stop carrying it for the season 😆 I actually do eat a half an avocado almost everyday, but I don't waste the other half on my face. I work out most mornings' and I run a few days a week. I've been an athlete for 30ish years, so it's an enjoyable routine for me- and increases the energy I have daily. I don't need to get my nails done- before motherhood, I did this routinely- it's just not important to me anymore. My mom used to get her nails done every 1-2 weeks 😍 That was her jam- with 4 kiddos and running a before/after school program, that's when she got to relax and enjoy adult conversation! What an incredible day checking out The Great Barrier Reef at Green Island. Picking a photo was so hard, so I picked my favorite couple photo that defined this day as a success. This is my triumphant “I parked successfully on the second try at Trader Joe’s” face 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 I felt very proud of myself 😊 Little did I know I would have an adventure finding where I parked 🤔 after getting groceries, but my car and I eventually reunited and all was well. #100daysofbeautifulmoments
