This is part of a trio I bought from the Coconuts Collection 🥥 I loooove this as an eyeshadow topper as it brings a lot of shine and sparkle without changing the base colour ✨
it’s close to the SSS in “Diamond” from the So Jaded palette but with a bit less glitter 🥰

Let’s brighten things up a bit and move over to the colorful, but often chaotic gift wrap stash.
Editing your gift wrap collection to a few coordinating items will save you time and storage space. Whether you prefer gift bags or wrapping paper, choose one or two neutral options you can pair with coordinating tissue paper, ribbon and a few blank tags or cards. If you like your gift wrapping to have a bit more personality, you could add a few fun colored markers to customize the paper with.
I generally use gift wrap to house my gift wrap - it practically labels itself. All my gifting supplies are contained within one large gift bag. Inside, each item type is sorted by smaller gift bags or boxes. Because I keep my gift wrap in a closet, putting it all in a bag makes it easy to grab and take over to the nearest open surface.
If you don’t have a closet corner to spare, wrapping paper rolls can be stored in long bins that fit under the bed - check out the SAMLA or LYCKSELE from @ikeauae or the Stores-More Underbed Storage bag from @homecentrestores (tip: measure your longest roll to make sure they’ll fit the bin). Have an extra hamper on hand? That’ll work too. Or, if your gift wrap matches the room decor, store it in a tall basket and make it a decorative piece.
Tidy up loose ribbon by spooling it around an empty toilet paper holder or kitchen towel holder and securing with a smidge of tape. And a rubber-band or paper clip on either end will secure wrapping paper on the roll without tearing the paper.
Some empties to keep at bay those #mondayblues 👏🏼
💙 @evanaturals_official Hyaluronic Acid Serum was my very first serum. I finished it long ago and keep forgetting to add it to empties! I loved this stuff. It had hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, calendula, vitamin E, and more. Very affordable, on Amazon, and cruelty free! Would absolutely buy again.
💙The @notyourmothers Clean Freak Tapioca is a big 👎🏼 from me. This warm sugar smell is soo good but this doesn’t work for me at all. It didn’t clean my hair even just on day 2.
💙The @pacificabeauty Sea Rescue Replenishing Water Gel is a declutter bc it’s not empty yet. If you have oily skin I think you would LOVE this, but for me it dried so fast I didn’t get the hydration I needed. Probably great for after sun too!
💙And lastly another @farmacybeauty Green Clean. My favorite cleansing balm that I have and will buy again!
Isolation has left me with a little extra time. Not much, as this home schooling gig is hard! Anyway, in the in-between moments I am tackling small tasks that are not too overwhelming but give me a sense of achievement. Today it is my recipe file. I have a habit of collecting recipes from magazines and friends. I keep them in my kitchen drawer and if they make the cut they get put into the file. I have one for savoury and the other for sweet. Done! #isolation#stayhome#declutter#organise#homeorganisersydney#professionalorganiser#my organisedhome
Time to relax and learn. To my fellow business owners: Right now is the time to relax, love on others (from a distance) and learn. Learn how to make your business thrive once we are out of quarantine. Learn new tricks and techniques. Learn to adapt and overcome. #professionalorganizers#scvsmallbusiness
We're starting the series at the most fundamental which are:
The non-negotiable, must-buy baking tools
You know how it’s okay to guess during your exams but not on your medical history? Well it’s fine to estimate when cooking—a tablespoon here, a handful there—but not when baking, where an extra 25° F and ¼ cup flour can be the difference between chewy cookies and super-thin mutants that spread into one giant Pangea. Together, a scale and an oven thermometer will eliminate risky guesswork, lighting your path to success. Here’s why:
Electronic scale: One cup of any dry ingredient varies in weight depending on how densely it’s packed, but with a scale, you can make sure your measurements are correct and consistent. No more cake-like cookies or brick-like cakes. Not only will a scale save you from cleaning sets of measuring cups (tedious!), but you’ll also use it for brewing coffee and figuring out how many sweet potatoes equal a pound. .
Oven thermometer: Brownie bottoms burning before the interior’s cooked through? Scones slouching rather than standing straight? Sounds like you’ve put too much trust in that oven dial. Unless your superpower is to detect the difference between 325 and 375° by feel alone, a thermometer is the only way to know if your oven is actually at the right temperature, whether you’re baking biscuits or roasting chicken. .
Electronic scale and Oven Thermometer are available at our store. Please do drop by our store or contact us via DM to find out more! .

2nd Project Pan
Shout out to @pannukakkuprojekti for coming up with the #OwlMugChallenge .
The challenge is picking makeup that fits into a coffee mug and try using it up so that by the end of the challenge, your mug should be empty. You could replace items you use up if you want.
3 reasons why this is a great challenge:
1. Manageable amount of products to use up in a challenge
2. Mug for easy accessibility so the makeup isn’t hiding behind other makeup
3. I get to showcase my cute mug ❤️ Items I chose: @covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation Mix @urbandecaycosmetics 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil in 1993 @smashboxcosmetics Photo Finish Primer @tartecosmetics Rainforest of the Sea 4 in 1 setting mist @doseofcolors Lipgloss in Over the Top @narsissist Lip Pencil @tartecosmetics Shape Tape @bitebeauty Agave + Daytime Lip Balm
I have SO many people ask me about toy storage.
My advice would be not to have a “toy box”. When you have one big toy box and throw EVERYTHING in, the kids will need to tip EVERYTHING out to get what they want to play with.
The key is to categorise them and put them in SMALL bins. If it doesn’t fit in a category or the size of the bin, out it goes.
If you're still awake like me, lol This is like a ten minute task. P.S. most of that stuff is trash anyways. I know I'm posting this late, but will add it along with tomorrow's To Do. Happy cleaning during Quarantine!
Virtual organizing... or in this case one busy #momof2 texting me asking how to organize her pantry! She took advantage of my FREE one hour #virtualorganizing sessions that I’m offering in #dfw and because of #reallife we text back and forth several times. This way she could respond when her littles weren’t running circles around her. I think she did great with having absolutely no organizing product, and the #pantry is absolutely the one place I always recommend product for. In fact I typically shop at @target and @thecontainerstore and always recommend two products (a lazy Susan and a 3 tier expanding shelf) because these can be used for so many items in the pantry, thus saving space.
Pantries are typically very unique in how they are shaped in our homes. In fact I’ve never done one that’s the same! Mine is simply an extra tall cabinet with deep shelves. What does your pantry look like?
⭐️ DAY 21 ⭐️ It’s Day 22. We need to catch up. But organizing your food storage is a huge task so do this one, and we’ll catch up tomorrow! Rule #1 : If you can’t pair your base with the lid, it’s no longer food storage... ✨ Products linked on our shop page under shop THE feed [thehomeedit.com/shop] ✨ Video and online services can be scheduled by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org ✨ #thehomeedit#stayhome#getorganized

When it comes organizing your drawers try folding your clothes, and placing them in an upright position. It will allow you to see everything you own!
The good in today is I finally climbed aboard the declutter and organization train.
The entire time we’ve been under quarantine, I was working overtime every weekday as well as Saturdays. That didn’t leave me any time or energy to stay caught up on normal chores let alone do any extra.
I was finally able to change that this weekend. Catching up on laundry. Putting away winter clothes. Switching out boots for sandals. Going through drawers and filling up bags to take to Goodwill.
I definitely can’t say I’m done but I did accomplish a lot and that feels good! And I have to agree with this quote because when I declutter my house it lessens my stress which declutters my mind!
Makeup drawer ~ after days of going without any makeup today seemed like a good day to go through my makeup desk. It's a beautiful desk with a mirror and a sitting bench. The single draw holds my stash of chapsticks, lipgloss and eyebrow pencils along with some items that have been in there for years.
Typically i don't wear that much makeup but I used to in my distant past. So the drawer has brushes, an eyelash curler, and some other odds and ends that haven't been used in a long while.
I went through the draw today and ditched the obvious 'junky' items but couldn't part with the makeup brush set I got as a gift years ago even though I don't use it anymore. Still in their case the brushes look like new. Made me happy to see them.
Everything has a place and Everything is in place.
This is how the house looks like after a “reset”
I don’t need to “tidy” or “organise” everyday. I just need to “re-set” everything.
Before we leave the house in the morning, before naps, before bedtime etc
Took a slight different approach with my fortnightly meal prepping and fridge organizing. During this unfortunate time of self isolation due to the worlds current situation I decided to get our fresh produce delivered straight to our door. I must admit it’s been tough not being able to leave whenever and where ever we want but it’s for the best! At home we are safe and hopefully by us doing this amongst so many others we will be able to slow if not stop the spread of the virus. If we all do our part then we will get back to our normal daily lives soon. In the meantime, use this time to support small businesses.
Check out my stories to see what I decided to do this fortnight- alternatively, everything will be saved to my ‘Fridge’ highlight.
I hope everyone is doing well 🌻

Self-care Sunday’s may look a little different these days, so it doesn’t matter whether you spend the day learning something new, resting, or organizing every corner just make sure you spend some time looking after you! ✨

The basic idea of a minimal lifestyle is to avoid buying things that you don’t really need. Minimalists buy new possessions carefully, always asking themselves whether or not they need something. And if something new is acquired, then it makes sense for it to be long-lasting, to obtain something of high-quality. Of course, high-quality doesn’t always mean expensive.
Another thing that plays a big role in minimalism is decluttering—letting go of the things you no longer need or value. If you haven’t used a particular possession for years, you’re probably never going to use it again. 🖤
This is an excerpt from an article I wrote about minimalism for a while ago. You can read the full text here: https://minimalism.life/journal/less-stuff-more-value
Looking for a weekend project? Today I’m taking over @starling’s Stories to give you all the organizing tips you need to put the razzle dazzle back in your jewelry drawer.
And heck, it’s Friday... so pour some wine (or a massive martini like @inagarten), put on your fanciest accessories (maybe all of them at the same time), and zoom your best friend. How’s that for #fancyfriday@arrowsandbow? 😂❤️
We made it through another week! Yay!

Don’t let drawers in your pantry intimidate you. They are a great space saver and very useful allowing you to store containers deep in the cabinet but access easily in no time with the pull out drawers. You could also use baskets, tubs or dividers to seperate your groups in the drawers. All products pictured above are @little_label_co. Tap to shop 👆🏽
