I have so many awesome projects to share with you and so many exciting upcoming projects to work on for both clients and myself! Will be posting some sneaky details over the next couple of weeks!

🚨 RESTOCK ALERT 🚨 -
This is NOT a drill! I am so fortunate to get my hands on some more of this beautiful fabric so I’ve decided to restock it on the website for those who are wanting it! -
👉🏻 please note the current turn around time is 6-7 weeks, and this exact fabric won’t be returning!
✱ Boho bloom vibes, my kinda style. If I was a Pinterest quote this would be me ✌🏻✨ I don’t usually post much personal stuff on this account but as this is work related I thought I’d share this here, as I know a lot of other indie business owners follow me and might be feeling the same way today, so I hope that this makes you feel less alone.
I’ve loved the last two years growing my little business. Designing everyday, getting to meet and work with some super talented people, and to see projects develop and flourish has been amazing. But running a business is hard and lately I’ve been feeling it. I know people look at us small business owners and think it’s easy. We mostly just share the wins. It looks really cosy working from our home offices and going to coffee shops for meetings on a Wednesday afternoon. I often hear, ‘It’s not like a proper job is it.’ But that’s because we don’t share the long days not getting paid, the worry of financial uncertainty, the hundreds of unreplied emails sent, the constant back and forth between processes, experimenting with what’s working and what isn’t, the loneliness of not having proper work colleagues to solve problems with and then late invoice payments which leads to even more stress.
I’m not here to complain as we all go through work struggles whether you’re 2 or 10 years into your career, but what I am here to do is to remind us all to support our small business owners.
Share their posts, tell your friends about the amazing work that they do, don’t ask them to work for free. Small business owners are often following their hearts and dreams, so support their efforts in any way you can and help them to bloom 🌻✨ #hustleandheart#herestothecreatives

I’m feeling a little melancholy today...missing my girlfriends after four days away with them. So it seems appropriate to share this one with you.
SAUDADE / 9x12, paper / is an untranslatable Portuguese word that basically means “the presence of absence” 🥀
It’s missing someone or something (even sounds, smells or foods!) but differs from nostalgia in that one can feel “saudade” for something that might never have happened. There’s both pleasure and pain in this melancholic feeling.
It’s a word for dreamers. 💫 #jmwordseries

Norah’s got something new to hang above her crib to match her bedding! 💕🌸
Plans for tonight involve a warm bowl of soup, baking apple cake, and watching a spooky movie. Three of my favorite things to do in October! Any movie recs?! Maybe Witches of EastWick?! Or Hocus Pocus?! Never gets old! 🔮🧟♂️👻 #textureflorals
