Deya - Saturated in Citra
I had this last year, but it definitely tastes different this time. And I think I like it more.
There's lovely savoury flavours in here, and it's smooth, soft and almost creamy. I've always found previous Deyas light and delicate, but this feels much fuller in body. I'm not knocking it though, it's very nice.
Battery Steele Brewing
Dank mango, grapefruit and basil. Tropical, juicy and herbaceous with a smidge of bitterness which makes it really drinkable. No sign of the ABV. Really good!

We have a beer for everyone at Craft bar . Whether you like pale , dark , Fruit or sour. Here's a few recent ones that we've added ☺️ Full Circle - Craters of the Moon DIPA
Fierce - Very Berry - Berry Sour
Hammerton - Don't Quit - Vanilla and Pecan Pie Imperial Stout
Dry & Bitter - Juicy Gotcha Crazy - DIPA
If sabro divides people this hop is sure to do the same, has a similar freshness to it but more lemon and lime rather then the mint freshness from sabro, its a nice beer but this is vauxall conference level compared to the champions league level Citra before.
Not sure what to brew next, something sessionable and hoppy I think!

Price: $16.65 for a 4 pack
Canned/Bottled on: 28/05/20
Look: Thin with a good dark orange colour.
Taste: I thought I'd never had this beer before but my #wankybeerfriend told me I'd picked up a can at @hopcityleeds last year and after a quick scroll through my feed, low and behold it was there (see 3rd pic). The different can art on the 2 can must've threw me off!
All I can remember about the 1st can was that it was straight up tropical juice, this however is completely different, massive stone fruits, some jammyness with some really good bitterness on the finish. Its really well balanced and super easy to drink.
Finally got around to do a side by side comparison of the Joint IPA collab from @eagleparkbrewing and @1840brewing who are arguably the 2 best breweries in Milwaukee. Both beers are outstanding with 1840 coming in a bit more mellow while EPs version is more hop forward. Both are fantastic and it shows why they are loved by so many in Milwaukee. Cheers to another nice weather weekend in Milwaukee!
Skyway Hazy DIPA—Equally as beautiful to behold is our New England-style double dry hopped Double IPA with five of our favorite tropical and resinous hop varieties. This Double IPA is as smooth as they come. Built to be uniquely drinkable, Skyway can be enjoyed year round in our beautifully tropical climate. 8.2% ABV, 70 IBU. #GreenbenchBrewingCo#Hazy#DIPA#BottleandCanNC#DowntownAsheboro
Colour: deep amber, almost rust
Smell: hops, hops and more hops
This is seriously hoppy! Which in turn gives us a seriously big flavour. Very crisp, dry and bitter, with pine and citrus notes chucked in for good measure. The bitterness gives this beer a warming feel and a very long and dry aftertaste. Not the best DIPA I’ve had recently but I’d definitely get one again. 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺.5 / 10
Beer: 39th & Greenmount
Brewery: Peabody Heights Brewing
Style: West Coast IPA
My fiancé is wedding dress shopping, and pets are sleeping. So, what's a guy to do when he has a moment to himself? Drink, right?
Nice bit of LED tape installation in the shed this afternoon accompanied by @vocationbrewery ‘Hebden Lager’. This was a really lovely crisp and refreshing lager.
Very much enjoying the craft lagers that have been released by various breweries recently. .
#ladebauche#dipa#strasbourg#strasbourgmonamour#biere#instabeer#beer#apero
Trillium + Other Half All Citra Everything DIPA Freaky Friday Pt. 2
On a complete side note from this review, I absolutely love being able to order my Trillium for pickup in the morning and grab it at the end of the day. I'm tired of missing out on specialty releases because I have a job/I don't trade/I don't buy on the secondary market.
This DIPA pours bright gold and has haze for dayzzzzzz. The short head dissipates almost immediately. The aroma packs huge notes of candied orange, grapefruit, pineapple, melon, and notable citrus peel. The aroma is fresh and thick. On the tatse I expected this to be fruit punch, but was wonderfully surprised by the bitter earthiness of this beer. On my palate I get more orange and grapefruit peel than I do the candied version, like I did in the aroma. There is great sweet pineapple flavors that are balanced out by the bitter flavor variants of citrus. I'm also getting a mild mint and pine flavor on the back end. The bitter citrus is almost warming my mouth after swallowing for a relaxing aftertaste. The beer has a beautiful creamy texture and the taste is smooth, but with a notable bite at the beginning. I really enjoy this beer. I think it's far superior to last years collaboration. This is the IPA I've been (unknowingly) waiting to try all year and I'm grateful to get my hands on a 4-pack. 9.8/10
Also, this could be my own ignorance, but what is the name of this beer? All Citra Everything? Freaky Friday? It sounds like OH is a collaborator but they don't show up anywhere on the can (unless you know HDHC is an OH thing). The can art is also, distinctly, OH. I just wish Trillium would take full credit or Other Half would announce themselves anywhere on the packaging.
Hour Series: Hour V
Winding back to the strong citrus and dank tropical pine from Denali we get another strong addition to the Hour Series. Denali adds in a citrus punch to the berry, mango, passionfruit, orange zest, blueberries and grapefruit. A heavy aroma that gives way to a candy like taste profile outlining this awesome hop combo. Keeping the same malt base gives you the fluffy mouthfeel and soft profile you have come to expect from the Hour Series.

Grassy and dank with refreshing lime, grapefruit and pineapple. Their best SG iteration for me. Just absolutely delicious. Thank you @ghostwhalelondon for the fantastic service. Happy Friday to you all!

Ārpus Brewing Co. / Sori Brewing
DDH Cashmere IPA
I often share the beers I post here with my wife. On this occasion however, she had the whole can to herself! Hence, what you will find below are her tasting notes.
Bubblegum and orange juice on the nose. Bitter garbage after taste. A bit of spice. Fizzy liquorice. Tasty!

Other Half Brewing Co.
My last can of OH in the fridge. Really hoping we'll be seeing more of these rarities in European webshops moving forward. Had this a couple of days ago and recall it being quite tropical but overly sweet, boozy and malty. No sign of the broccoli. Perhaps age caught up with it.

Pressure Drop Brewing
Escape The City
I wouldn't mind escaping the city right about now, but since I'm not leaving the concrete jungle anytime soon, this Citra and Strata hopped beaut from Pressure Drop will have to suffice as a stand-in. The nose is wonderful with the Citra leading the charge, reminiscent of King Sue. Taste is dank tropical fruit with passion fruit standing out. Dense, thick mouthfeel. This is great stuff. So happy I‘ve got a few more cans in the fridge. Cheers!

Deya, Saturated In Citra - DIPA | 8%
Mellow ripe tropical fruit and freshly squeezed OJ, rounded and soft as Deya do. It's delicious. Best UK haze consistently comes out of Cheltenham

Pentrich Brewing, Jumbo King - Double IPA | 8.5%
First beer I've tried from Pentrich and they've gone to town - it's full on murk, creamy, sweet. The hops are very fruity on the nose with a notably candied edge that I wasn't expecting with Nelson in the mix
I reckon it could be tweaked and refined a notch, but it certainly packs a punch and makes a statement. Interested to try more
